The president will stop at nothing to try and defeat Donald Trump in 2024. Even if it means spreading lies to the American people.
And Joe Biden just made an absurd claim that has Trump seething with rage.
There’s no doubt last Tuesday’s Colorado Supreme Court decision to take Donald Trump off the state ballot filled the Democrats’ hearts with joy.
That includes President Joe Biden as well.
While arriving in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for an event, Biden doubled down on his party’s narrative that Trump “supported an insurrection” on January 6, 2021.
“It’s self-evident,” the president told reporters.
“You saw it all. Now, whether the 14th Amendment applies, I’ll let the court make that decision. But he certainly supported an insurrection. No question about it.”
“None. Zero. And he seems to be doubling down on about everything,” Biden continued.

Before his answer, the president originally told reporters that he was “not gonna comment on it.”
Obviously that didn’t stop him from claiming that the former president is an insurrectionist.
This is a different strategy than what the White House has done thus far.
They have not commented on Trump’s removal from the state ballot, with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre saying, “What I can say is the president’s not involved. We’re not involved in it.”
“Just not going to get involved in any court decision that’s made. Supreme Court, any court decision is a legal process.”
“We’re going to leave it alone, not comment. …We try to do our best to follow the law and just not going to comment on this.”
Biden is allowed to make statements regarding the election that members of his staff cannot make since he is an elected official.
And clearly he didn’t hold back in commenting on the Colorado Supreme Court ruling.
Donald Trump is already fired up over his disqualification from the ballot.
And he’s sure to be even more enraged after what his political rival said about the situation.
