Gavin Newsom launches direct attack on the U.S. Constitution

Democrat Governor of California Gavin Newsom is one of the most extreme Democrats. But no one thought he’d go this far.

Because Gavin Newsom just launched a direct attack on the U.S. Constitution itself.

Two amendments to the U.S. Constitution in particular have been under attack more than ever before.

Those two are the First and Second amendments which are the foundation for the rest of the U.S. Constitution and the foundation for America’s society.

The First Amendment was designed to guarantee freedom from the federal government forcing citizens to obey their every demand, which is what we have seen in countries throughout world history.

The Second Amendment was designed to protect the First and the rest of the U.S. Constitution. Our Founding Fathers knew citizens needed the be guaranteed the right to the means of defending themselves against a tyrannical government.

Anyone who wanted to tyrannize America would be stopped dead in their tracks by those first two critical amendments.

There’s a reason no foreign power truly wants to invade America with more than 300 million firearms in the hands of her citizens – it would be a death wish.

Similarly, politicians have largely been laughed out of the room when they suggest we gut those two amendments. That is until the 21st century.

Democrats in the past two decades have been waging an all-out war on the First and Second amendments, doing everything they can to chip away at them.

But Gavin Newsom is tired of playing the incremental game. He wants to take a major step toward overturning these rights, right now.

This week, the Democrat Governor of California announced his support for their Senate Bill number 2, which implements strict gun control laws that contradict the rights of the Second amendment designed for all U.S. citizens.

The law would make it so that California citizens would no longer be allowed to conceal or carry their weapons in any privately-owned company or business that is understood to be “open to the public.”

Their purpose in that is to effectively make gun-free zones because no one is going to be open carrying in a doughnut shop.

According to the law, if a business wants to allow citizens to conceal carry, they must put up a sign that says customers are allowed to do so.

A Democrat Senator from the state legislature said that the sign aspect of the law was designed to “help it with constitutional” matters.

“This is not window dressing. This is to put a strong bill on the governor’s desk to withstand a legal challenge that is sure to come,” Anthony Portantino said.

He added that exceptions to the legislation would be “a legal nuance that I think helps it with constitutional muster.”

Furthermore, the bill would ban anyone under the age of 21 from being able to have a permit to conceal carry a weapon at all and would require permit holders to get approved training on “storing and transporting” their weapons.

So California citizens at the age of 18 would be allowed to sign up for the military, where they will be handling firearms, but they can’t be a responsible concealed carry permit holder?

What sense does that make?

The last time Democrats in California tried to pass this bill, it was shot down because Democrats couldn’t get the votes to implement it.

Only time will tell what happens this time around.
