The president doesn’t realize the harm he’s done to this country. He’s constantly made poor decisions as commander-in-chief.
And Americans are flabbergasted by the incredibly tone-deaf statement Biden just made.
Joe Biden couldn’t be more clueless about his term as President of the United States.
While Americans are suffering from a failing economy and an illegal immigration crisis at the southern border, Biden and his Democrat pals want the public to believe that his presidency couldn’t have gone any better.
But anyone with half of a functioning brain knows that isn’t the case at all.
And no amount of gaslighting by Biden and his administration will change the fact that he has been arguably one of the worst presidents in modern times.
Biden Makes Ridiculous Claim About The Economy Under His Watch
President Joe Biden confidently predicted that he would be remembered as the president who “cured the economy,” despite the challenges of rising inflation and interest rates since he took office.
The president made these remarks to reporters around 1:30 a.m. upon his return from a day trip to Texas.
This was one of his first informal Q&A sessions since he withdrew from the presidential race on July 21, endorsing Harris as his successor.
When asked by a reporter what he hopes his legacy will be for Generation Z, Biden humorously yet optimistically responded, “That I’ve cured the economy and the environment and a few other small things.”
This assertion comes at a time when consumer costs have risen over 20% since his presidency began, with credit card interest rates nearly doubling and mortgage rates reaching generational highs.
In response to a question about when he would start campaigning for Harris, Biden mentioned that he had already begun, referencing his touting of her during a speech at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin.
As speculation mounts about Harris’s potential vice-presidential picks, Biden confirmed that discussions are ongoing. Reports have mentioned potential candidates such as Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
Additionally, other Democrats, including Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, appear to be positioning themselves for the role.
Harris’s final decision is expected to be ratified by Democratic delegates in a virtual roll call vote before the August 7 deadline for ballot access in Ohio.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has already announced his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance.
Together, they have focused their campaign rhetoric on criticizing Biden’s economic record and Harris’s handling of immigration issues, which have seen record surges.
Trump has promised to eliminate federal taxes on tips and to reduce inflation and interest rates if he is victorious on November 5.
