FBI director lays into Adam Schiff during eye-popping exchange

Schiff is one of the worst Senators in America. It’s anyone’s guess how he rose to power in the first place.

And the FBI director laid into Adam Schiff during an eye-popping exchange.

In a showdown at the Senate Judiciary Committee, FBI Director Kash Patel didn’t hold back, labeling Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) as “the biggest fraud to ever sit in the United States Senate.” This bombshell came amid heated testimony that exposed the deep-seated animosity between the two.

The tension boiled over when Democrats, led by Schiff, pushed a narrative accusing Patel of ousting FBI agents or yanking them from investigations on orders from the White House for purely political motives. It’s the kind of baseless smear that’s become all too common from the left.

Schiff then pivoted to the Jeffrey Epstein saga, grilling Patel about supposedly withholding Epstein’s infamous “black book”—even though it’s already out in the open. He also hammered Patel on the handling of Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s convicted accomplice.

The exchange quickly devolved into a shouting match, with both men going toe-to-toe.

This isn’t just a one-off spat; Schiff has harbored a grudge against Patel for years, as detailed in reports from Breitbart News. The vendetta traces back to Patel’s role in uncovering deep-state mischief:

“Schiff has been trying to destroy Patel ever since 2017, when Patel helped expose the fact that members of the outgoing Obama administration abused their power to ‘unmask’ the names of Americans caught on foreign wiretaps, a practice that was thought to have led to the unjust firing and prosecution of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn over false allegations of collusion with Russia.”

Patel’s work shone a light on how the Obama crew twisted intelligence tools to target political foes, setting the stage for the Russia hoax that plagued Trump’s early presidency.

Back then, Schiff was the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, desperately trying to spin the narrative in favor of the deep state.

“Schiff, then the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, wrote a memorandum in which he attempted, unsuccessfully, to counter the claims of the Republican majority that the FBI’s surveillance of Carter Page, an aide to then-candidate Donald Trump, was justified.”

But truth prevailed when the Justice Department’s Inspector General dropped a bombshell report that tore apart Schiff’s fairy tale.

“Schiff’s claims were later debunked by a report by the Department of Justice Inspector General, which validated Republican concerns about the abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court by the FBI in its efforts to target Trump.”

Fast forward to the first Trump impeachment, where Schiff took the reins as committee chair, hunting for any dirt on Patel to prop up their witch hunt.

“During the first impeachment investigation of President Trump, which Schiff led as chair of the House Intelligence Committee, Democrats tried, in vain, to find evidence that Patel had been a ‘back channel’ for Russia to Trump. The impeachment report cited a phone call between then-Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani and Patel — which proved nothing but the fact that the committee had violated the president’s Sixth Amendment rights by spying on his legal counsel.”

Even that phone call stunt backfired, exposing how Democrats trampled on constitutional rights in their zeal to take down Trump and his allies. But Schiff’s obsession didn’t stop there. He jumped aboard the biased January 6 Committee, once again zeroing in on Patel like a hound on a scent.

“Schiff then served on the one-sided January 6 Committee, which pursued Patel again. Once again, it found no wrongdoing, and only belatedly released the transcript of his closed-door interview with the committee.”

Now in the Senate, Schiff keeps stirring the pot on national issues, recycling his old tricks from the impeachment circus and the Jan. 6 farce. It’s as if he can’t let go of his anti-Trump crusade.
