House Republicans just blew the lid off Joe Biden’s FBI scandals

The DOJ and the FBI have quickly turned into political arms of the White House. But Joe Biden is going to have to pay for it.

Because House Republicans have blown the lid off of Joe Biden’s FBI scandals.

The House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government has claimed that FBI workers who spoke out in opposition to the “politicized rot” within the bureau were dismissed or had their security clearances withdrawn.

In an interim staff report that was provided by the committees on Thursday morning, additional whistleblower testimony from a number of current and former FBI personnel was revealed, exposing “abuses and misconduct in the FBI.”

“The disclosures from these FBI employees highlight egregious abuse, misallocation of law enforcement resources, and misconduct with the leadership ranks of the FBI,” the study reads.

The FBI whistleblowers allegedly suffered “retaliatory conduct” against them, according to the report, “after making protected disclosures about what they believed in good faith to be wrong conduct.”

Two informants, Marcus Allen, an FBI staff operations specialist, and Steve Friend, a former FBI special agent, both had their security credentials revoked this month and are scheduled to testify before the Weaponization Subcommittee on Thursday morning.

According to the committee’s report, the FBI terminated Friend’s security clearance and placed him on administrative leave after he made protected disclosures about the handling of DVE cases by the agency and voiced his concerns about the handling of cases involving the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021.

According to Friend, the FBI’s conduct of the investigations surrounding the events of January 6 “deviated from standard practice and created a false impression with respect to the threat of DVE nationwide.”

Allen’s security clearance was reportedly stopped by the FBI for no other reason than that he was carrying out his job duties, which included conducting case-related research using free online news sources and videos and informing his task force colleagues of the findings.

Allen explained to the committees that he distributed links to films of public commentary about the Capitol violence to provide “situational awareness.”

Media outlets, however, were able to get a letter from the FBI outlining the suspensions of both Friend and Allen before the hearing on Thursday. The letter was addressed to both Republicans and Democrats on the Judiciary Committee.

The FBI claimed that on May 16, two days before the Weaponization Subcommittee hearing on Thursday, the FBI terminated Friend’s top secret security clearance. In August 2022, according to the letter, Friend “refused to participate in the execution of a court authorized, search and arrest of a criminal subject.”

Additionally, the FBI claimed that Friend “participated in multiple, unapproved media interviews, including an interview with a Russian government news agency.”

In the letter, it is stated that “Mr. Friend alleges he obtained authorization from the FBI’s Office of Public Affairs (OPA) to participate in these interviews, but OPA did not provide such authorization.”

In regards to Allen, the letter notes that the FBI terminated his top secret security clearance on May 3 following the opening of a security investigation into him in October 2021 as a result of a referral from the FBI’s Charlotte Field Office. Allen’s security clearance was suspended in January 2022 due to so-called security reasons.

However, according to the committee’s findings, “the FBI, under Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, is broken.”

“The leadership at the FBI and Justice Department have weaponized federal law enforcement against everyday Americans, seeking to silence those who dare to have a different viewpoint,” the report claims.

The FBI will come up with any excuse to make to defend their actions in revoking security clearances and firing agents who dare to contradict the top brass.

The real issue is that there’s a blurred line in terms of the top brass and the FBI and the DOJ and the White House.
