For anyone with a functioning brain, it was obvious that President Joe Biden, 81, was suffering from some sort of cognitive decline.
But after his disastrous June 27 debate, Democrats all of a sudden admitted that Biden was no longer mentally fit.
This revelation came after months and years of Leftist covering up his cognitive issues. One of those Leftists who was likely in on the cover-up, is Vice President Kamala Harris.
Now voters are wondering how much did she know about Biden’s health issues and how long did she know about them?
Vice President Harris: What Did She Know and When Did She Know It?
The burning question of why Harris didn’t share details about Biden’s health with Americans is on nearly everyone’s mind, according to a recent YouGov/Times of London poll surveying 1,170 registered voters.
The poll, conducted from July 22 to 23, came out after President Biden announced his decision not to seek re-election. This was before his tentative farewell address from the Oval Office on Wednesday night.
An overwhelming 92% of respondents believe that Vice President Harris was at least somewhat aware of President Biden’s progressive health deterioration.
This issue became undeniable for even mainstream media following his poor performance against former President Donald Trump in last month’s debate in Atlanta, despite ongoing discussions on the right since Biden took office in 2021.
Among those who believe Harris had knowledge, a significant majority think she knew a “great deal” about Biden’s health issues but chose to keep quiet.
Overall, 68% of respondents are convinced that she had ample knowledge of the president’s decline. This view is shared by 78% of Republicans, 73% of independents, and 82% of self-identified conservatives, who all believe Harris played a central role in covering up Biden’s condition.
While more than two-thirds of voters think Harris was fully aware and chose not to disclose the information, the remaining respondents are not entirely dismissive of her involvement either.
An additional 17% believe the vice president was “somewhat” involved in the concealment, and 7% think she knew at least “a little” about it.
Harris finds some respite in the fact that only 22% of Democrats, who appear ready to nominate her for the presidency without primary elections, think she had substantial knowledge of Biden’s issues. Although the left is hesitant to hold her entirely accountable, many still believe she was aware to some extent. About 58% of Democrats and 64% of liberals assign her considerable blame, and another 20% of Democrats and 21% of liberals acknowledge she knew at least “a little” about the president’s health challenges.
Despite a minority on the left (12% of Democrats and 7% of liberals) believing Harris was completely unaware, the general sentiment leans towards some level of knowledge and involvement on her part.
As Biden is expected to complete his term, the right is already using the perception of Harris’s alleged deception as a political weapon. Donald Trump’s MAGA Inc. super PAC has released an ad accusing Harris of being part of the cover-up, deliberately hiding “Joe’s obvious mental decline.”
With ongoing concerns about Biden’s health, it is likely that accusations against Harris will continue to be a significant talking point, especially if there are further signs of the president’s decline.
