Americans really don’t like Washington, D.C. Swamp Creatures. House Democrat Nancy Pelosi is exactly that.
But Nancy Pelosi just completely exposed herself online in the most shocking way.
In an apparent dig at former president Donald Trump, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tweeted that “no one is above the law.”
This came as Trump announced on social media on Saturday morning that he will be detained this week.
He claimed on Truth Social that he had learned through leaks that the New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg would file charges against him for allegedly breaking campaign finance regulations by allegedly paying Stormy Daniels, a former adult film star, $130,000 in hush money with campaign funds during the final stretch of the 2016 election.
Trump has denied ever having an affair with Daniels, who says she had one with him in 2006.
The defense team for the former president has asserted that wealthy individuals like himself are frequently the subject of extortion efforts. According to Trump, the payment to Daniels came from his personal account and was required to stop her from defaming him.
It’s important to note that in 2019, federal prosecutors in New York ended their inquiry into the same situation involving Trump, Daniels, and suspected campaign finance crimes.
Although it is unknown whether Trump will be detained or charged, Pelosi, the last person who ought to weigh in on the subject of whether some individuals are exempt from the rule of law, did just that on Twitter shortly after Trump announced the news.
Whatever the Grand Jury decides, its consideration makes clear: no one is above the law, not even a former President of the United States.

Pelosi added in another tweet that, “He cannot hide from his violations of the law, disrespect for our elections and incitements to violence. Rightfully, our legal system will decide how to hold him accountable.”

Pelosi has earned a fortune in recent years from investing in the markets, but she has never shown any interest in stopping the practice of members of Congress engaging in insider trading.
Paul Pelosi, her husband, was also allegedly given preferential treatment when he was detained for drunk driving last year.
He decided to drink, get behind the wheel, and go for a drive, and he crashed his Porsche into another car. Officers had to wait hours to do a blood alcohol test, which Mr. Pelosi almost passed.

Pelosi holds Trump to a different set of standards than she does other people, as was amply demonstrated. She has categorically denied him the benefit of the doubt.
Pelosi and her ilk receive preferential treatment if the nation does actually have two judicial systems—one for the elites and another for everyone else.
Pelosi is hurling insults at Trump from one of the biggest glass homes in the nation despite the fact that he has not been charged with a crime or found guilty of one.
