Everyone knows Joe Biden is politically weak. Especially the Republicans eyeing the White House for 2024.
And Nikki Haley just slammed Joe Biden with a truth bomb that left him stewing in anger.
Nikki Haley, a former ambassador to the UN, has appeared to poke fun at President Joe Biden and her former employer, Donald Trump.
Haley declared, “In the America I see, the permanent politician will finally retire,” during a campaign launch event on Wednesday.
Term restrictions for Congress would be implemented, and lawmakers over 75 will need to pass mental capacity exams, she continued.
.@NikkiHaley: "In the America I see, the permanent politician will finally retire. We'll have term limits for Congress & mandatory mental competency test for anyone over 75 yrs old. Most of all, I see a strong America b/c I see a proud America. Strong & proud, not weak & woke." pic.twitter.com/ktdxR8MIQ4

Haley did not say whether she thought presidential candidates should be the only ones subjected to competency testing. There are several elderly members of Congress. Yet Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the oldest member of the upper chamber at 89 years old, has occasionally seemed to forget things.
Her cap for the competency exam, however, is intriguing. Biden, who is currently 80, would fall into that bracket. Even so, 76-year-old Donald Trump, a former president, would also.
Although term limits for Congress are a notion that many Americans would likely support, it is one that would likely be soon rejected.
If we are unable to enact term restrictions, a mental competency exam might be helpful. Of course, there are politicians who are in their 80s and don’t appear to have aged a bit. For instance, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who is 89 years old and just a few months younger than Feinstein, performed push-ups to show his stamina before the 2022 midterm elections.
And 82-year-old former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was – unfortunately for America – able to advance some of Biden’s radical Leftist agenda while maintaining a modest House majority over the past two years.
Yet, Biden probably wouldn’t take kindly to a mental exam. The former vice president gave a testy response when CBS News’ Errol Barnett asked him if he had undergone a cognitive test.
“No, I haven’t taken a test,” he shot back. “Why the hell would I take a test? Come on, man. That’s like saying to you, ‘Before you got on this program, did you take a test where you’re taking cocaine or not?’ What do you think, huh? Are you a junkie?”
"No, I haven't taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test? Come on, man,” Biden tells @errolbarnett, comparing questions about undergoing a cognitive exam to asking if a reporter had taken a drug test. “What do you think, huh? Are you a junkie?" pic.twitter.com/vbC6VchpHZ

Biden’s mental stability has come under scrutiny from conservatives after incidents in which he crashed his bike, appeared disoriented during speeches, had trouble speaking, or inquired about the whereabouts of a deceased congresswoman.
So, it seems natural that a Republican would advocate for an older politician’s ability test. But, the age cut-off is significant because Trump would be included.
Maybe the intention was to imply subtly that he is past his prime. Considering that she claimed in her speech that Republicans require a “new generation to lead us into the future,”
The former president’s supporters will highlight his vigor and demanding 2016 and 2020 campaign schedules. Yet, he will be around the same age as Biden was in 2020 by the time the primaries begin, and there may very well be concerns about Trump’s mental capacity.
Haley’s proposition might be a part of a scheme to subtly suggest a certain age as possibly being too old. Also, they might reason that Trump is older than 75 if he stumbles during a debate.
Or perhaps it was just because she thought 75 was a lovely number. We tend to believe that she selected that number deliberately.
