Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is completely unafraid of stepping on toes. And that’s made him enemies.
But Ron DeSantis just received an apology from the last place he ever expected.
Over the past two years, Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has skyrocketed to fame in the political scene with no signs of slowing down.
Polls have shown that he’s become the most favorably viewed politician in the entire United States, and it’s not particularly close.
But that’s come at the cost of having a new bright target on his back.
His actions and leadership that the majority of Floridians and Americans in general support will always be harshly condemned by the radical Left.
Recently, the DeSantis administration decided to reject an African American history course for public colleges due to concerns about the potential for anti-white prejudices in the course.
This caused the entire radical Left to lose their minds and paint DeSantis as an evil bigot, no matter how untrue that is.
A member of the Miami-Dade Black Affairs Advisory Board outright called governor Desantis a “racist.”
But the Miami-Dade Black Affairs Advisory Board recently apologized to DeSantis for the comments of this member, acknowledging that they went way too far.

Pierre Rutledge, the chair of the board, made a statement admitting that the Left needs to “pull back” their rhetoric of calling everyone on the Right prejudiced bigots.
“We take it to heart when someone uses the term racist,” Rutledge said in his statement.
“Words matter. And so as chair, I must start by saying we want to pull that back. There’s nothing wrong with saying ‘we’re sorry.’ That’s not what we intended to say or be depicted by anyone. And that’s not the feeling of this board.”
DeSantis voiced concerns over the the proposed African American history course due to it having lessons on “queer theory”, which he argues doesn’t belong in a Black history course.
“This course on Black history, what’s one of the lessons about? Queer theory,” DeSantis ranted. “Now, who would say that an important part of Black history is queer theory? That is somebody pushing an agenda.”
One of the things that has made Ron DeSantis popular is his rejection of the radical Left’s policies of Critical Race Theory and “woke” ideology.
The Democrats and Leftists in Florida are likely acknowledging that the people of Florida have responded well and they know they can’t keep playing the game of labeling everyone a racist.
That’s not a winning strategy anymore and Ron DeSantis has proved it.
