With the primaries approaching, it’s crunch time for candidates. But this presidential hopeful has other things on his mind.

And the 2024 election just got turned upside down after this candidate’s suspension.

The 2024 presidential election next November is shaping up to be a tense one.

And both Democrat and Republican candidates are doing all they can to try and be at the top of the ticket come election day.

However, some candidates are realizing it’s the end of the line for their hopes of becoming commander-in-chief.

One of those candidates is talk show host and Republican, Larry Elder, who has decided to drop out of the 2024 race.

In a statement last Thursday, he announced that he’s now endorsing former President Donald Trump and will put his “full support to Make America Great Again, end the epidemic of fatherless homes, reign in spending, and restore law & order.”

“The breakdown of the family structure and the absence of positive father figures in the lives of many children have far-reaching consequences for our society, including the crime wave we are currently seeing in America today,” Elder continued.

“I hope that my campaign has helped shine a light on these critical issues and sparked important conversations about how we can solve them.”

Elder also mentioned in his statement that Americans need to be watchful for district attorneys who are backed by George Soros, which is resulting in rising crime rates in the country.

Let’s be honest here, Elder was a long-shot candidate that likely wasn’t going to win the Republican nomination, let alone win the general election.

But his absence now allows his supporters to rally behind a candidate that has a better chance at winning the presidency. Larry Elder is hoping his supporters rally behind Trump.

“Although I am suspending my campaign for president, my commitment to addressing the crisis of fatherlessness, promoting conservative ideals, and supporting the MAGA movement remains unwavering. I will continue to work tirelessly to advocate for the issues that matter most to the American people,” Elder added in his statement.

Elder also joins fellow long-shot Republican candidates like businessman Perry Johnson and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez to suspend their campaigns.

His polling numbers never rose above one percent which is why he never saw time on the debate stage.

“Thank you again for your support,” Elder concluded in his statement.

“May God bless you all, and may He continue to bless the United States of America.”
