The Democrats aren’t taking Trump’s victory very well. They’re showing their true colors in defeat.
And this Leftist congressman goes nuclear on Donald Trump in a deranged rant that was caught on camera.
In a fiery interview over the weekend, Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) likened President-elect Donald Trump to infamous dictators Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, drawing sharp criticism from political commentators and Republican leaders.
Clyburn made the remarks during a conversation with Neil Cavuto on Fox News’ Cavuto Live on Saturday. Discussing the nation’s political shift to the Right in the recent elections, Clyburn reflected on historical patterns of ideological swings in the United States.
“We go from left to right in this country,” he stated. “We go from right back left in this country. And I always say, well whether the pendulum is going from left to right or right to left, it always passes through the middle.”
He expressed concern over what he perceives as a dramatic political lurch:
“Now, the country has gone lurching back to the right. I hope it’s not going as far right as that which happened in Germany in the 1930s. But you may remember I forewarned way back in 2018 that I saw this coming. I’ve studied history all of my life.”
When Cavuto pressed him for clarification, asking if he was “envisioning another Hitler,” Clyburn left no ambiguity in his response.
“That’s exactly what I’m saying,” Clyburn declared. “I said the 1930s in Germany. And of course, we go to Mussolini in Italy.”
Clyburn doubled down, insisting that his comparisons were not exaggerated, prompting immediate backlash from Republican voices.
Republican strategist Steve Guest criticized Clyburn’s statements on X, accusing Democrats of incendiary rhetoric.
“Democrats are rhetorical arsonists who don’t care about the consequences of their rhetoric,” Guest wrote. He pointed to the assassination attempts Trump has faced as evidence of the dangerous consequences such comments could have. “Clyburn’s comments this morning only add fuel to the fire.”
Jeremy Carl, a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute, echoed the sentiment. “Former long-time member of Democrat leadership throwing around this type of dangerous language at a President who has already been the victim of two assassination attempts,” Carl said. “It’s dangerous and outrageous.”
Radio host Julie Gunlock added her perspective, posting on X: “Yup. They want him dead. They’ll keep saying it.”
No matter what, it doesn’t seem like the Left will stop the Hitler comparisons when talking about Donald Trump.
They don’t realize that their rhetoric is not only dangerous but a ridiculously idiotic campaign strategy.
Those comparisons of Trump to Hitler are so far-fetched that it only makes the Democrat Party look like they have no idea what they’re talking about. If the comparisons had any sort of truth attached to them, then Donald Trump wouldn’t have won the presidency by as large of a margin as he did.

Neil Cavuto: “Are you envisioning [Trump] as another Hitler — is that what you’re saying?”
Jim Clyburn: “That’s exactly what I’m saying!”
Cavuto: “You don’t think that’s a little hyperbolic?”
