Day after day, details of Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified intelligence is getting worse. His body guards may not have clean hands either.
And the Secret Service is in CHAOS after they admitted to lying to the American people.
Democrats were quick to jump the gun when allegations surfaced that Donald Trump had taken classified information with him before leaving office.
After raiding his home, Trump still claims the documents he took were declassified by himself – a power only the president holds.
Donald Trump will have his day to plead his case, but the shocking reality is that the fake news media and Democrat politicians are complete hypocrites.
After Joe Biden was found to have taken classified information from when he was Vice President under the Obama administration, the Left has been quick to say that Biden is cooperating.
Newsflash! It doesn’t matter if he’s cooperating. As Vice President, Biden had no power to declassify material and his storage of such documents in a box in his garage is an even bigger slap in the face the American public.
Of course, after finding out that President Biden had hidden documents in his garage, conservatives started asking who had access to the home – to which the Secret Service said they didn’t keep logs of visitors.
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi claimed Monday that “we don’t independently maintain our own visitor logs because it’s a private residence.”
Well, in a record time of three days, the Secret Service has reversed course, with Guglielmi saying, “the Secret Service does generate law enforcement and criminal justice information records for various individuals who may come into contact with Secret Service protected sites.”
Meanwhile, Fox News quoted an unnamed source as promising that “the Secret Service is prepared to provide available background information on vetted guests to Biden’s residence if requested by Congress.”
In other words, Anthony Guglielmi and the Secret Service lied to the American people and only fessed up when they realized their situation was untenable.
This has led Republican lawmakers to float the idea of subpoenas for Biden’s family members and staff.
“There are several avenues to obtain information on who had access to classified documents at the Wilmington residence,” a spokesman for the House Oversight Committee told The Post, “and the Oversight Committee will pursue those avenues.”
Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, which also is looking into the controversy, had said Monday afternoon that if no records existed, “we’ll have to seek it through testimony with family members or those who have been at the residence.”
The Secret Service’s admission comes after repeated Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests that revealed nothing.
As the New York Post reports:
The Secret Service claimed in April that ‘no records were located” showing logs of Biden’s Delaware visitors in response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by The Post. In late September, the Secret Service denied a FOIA appeal, telling The Post again that ‘no responsive records’ were found after an ‘additional search of relevant program offices.’
On Oct. 10, The Post filed a more broadly worded FOIA request asking the Secret Service for ‘[e]mails that refer to visitors to President Biden’s residences’ during his time in office. The agency has not yet provided a substantive reply, with a Secret Service FOIA staffer telling The Post Tuesday that “your request is currently being processed.’
During his two-year administration, Biden has spent approximately one-fourth of his time in Wilmington or Rehoboth Beach.
Joe Biden, as vice president and in the years since, has frequently interacted with his son Hunter and brother James’ overseas business acquaintances, including those from China, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Russia, and Ukraine, which has contributed to interest in the Wilmington logs.
The American people deserve answers.
