The truth is coming out for this Leftist. They can’t hide from it now.
And these congressional aides reveal how deranged this Democrat is in a shocking tell-all.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Dallas Democrat, has become a frequent face on television since taking office in January 2023. Known for her critiques of President Trump and his allies, the 44-year-old former criminal defense attorney and Texas state legislator has built a loyal online following. However, behind her tough public persona, congressional aides paint a starkly different picture, describing her as a demanding and disengaged boss who prioritizes fame over her duties.
Present on Screen, Absent in the Office
Crockett’s rhetoric, often delivered in committee hearings, has fueled her rapid rise to prominence. Her viral moment in May 2024, when she clashed with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) over a “bleach blonde bad built butch body” comment in response to Greene mocking her “fake eyelashes,” cemented her as a political provocateur. The exchange, reminiscent of reality TV drama, sparked fundraising efforts and amplified her online presence. Yet, sources who have worked with or for Crockett say her commitment fades when the cameras stop rolling.
“She is never in the office and is very disengaged. She does her bulls— that goes viral, and then freaks out over the most random things,” said a former aide. Crockett reportedly spends much of her time at her luxury apartment near Capitol Hill, sometimes absent from her Longworth House Office Building suite for weeks. “She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office, and is really just indifferent to staff and will scream at them,” the aide said.
Another source close to Crockett’s team noted, “It is widely known that she’s not nice to staff and is just not a really dedicated member focused on constituents.” A third source, who has worked with her, described her as “all diva, no wow,” accusing her of prioritizing influencer status over congressional responsibilities.
A High-Maintenance Presence
When Crockett does appear on Capitol Hill, often for high-profile committee hearings where she unleashes attacks on Trump that are meant to go viral on social media, her demands extend to her staff. Sources say she insists on being driven the short distance to her office in a rented luxury vehicle, specifically “an Escalade” or similar upscale model, rather than using a staffer’s personal car—a cost-saving practice common among lawmakers.
Staff are expected to open the car door for her, a move one source called a “power play” similar to “treating the staffer like an Uber driver.”
“You’re technically allowed to do this, but it’s wildly inefficient. Instead of using the scheduler’s car, she rents a car every week in DC,” a source explained. “She expects her staff to drive her around while she’s in the back seat.”
Staff Turnover and Tensions
Crockett’s office has seen significant staff turnover, with some likening her to the late Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), notorious for being a tough boss.
Aides report a toxic work environment, with Crockett allegedly dismissing staff abruptly or driving them to leave. One incident involved a young Black woman who was fired and told a colleague, “I don’t want to hear Jasmine Crockett talk about helping black women when she just fired one for no reason!” According to the New York Post, another aide was reduced to tears after Crockett shouted, “Do you really want to be here? And if not, you can leave!”
Her treatment of staff has led to a reputation that precedes her. A recent job listing for her team, circulated among a group of Black Democratic women, reportedly received no interest, per what a source said to the New York Post, . “You would think working for a Black woman, if you were a young Black woman or a young person of color, you would feel empowered in that space,” a former Democratic congressional aide said. “But truly, the only person that she thinks about and cares about is herself.”
Crockett’s focus, sources say, is on securing media appearances on shows like “The View” or late-night talk shows rather than engaging with local issues in her Dallas district. “The staff is really just an island unto itself, because she doesn’t care about the local issues happening in her district,” one source said.
Even during congressional hearings on mundane topics like budgets or appropriations, Crockett often steers the conversation back to Trump, creating spectacles that disrupt proceedings. “She causes some kind of tension and issue, the hearing has to stop, the chairman has to bang the gavel. It’s like a spectacle and a show,” a source complained.
Jasmine Crockett’s rise as a vocal critic of Trump has made her a darling of liberal media, but for those who work with her, the congresswoman’s focus on fame over substance has created a challenging and often demoralizing workplace.
As one source put it, “She’s more focused on ‘Get me on “The View”’ than doing the actual job of a member of Congress.
