A former ally of Donald Trump’s does the absolute unthinkable to him

Trump has accumulated a lot of enemies over the years. But no one expected this individual to make the list.

And a former ally of Donald Trump’s does the absolute unthinkable to him.

Former Vice President Mike Pence announced last Friday that he would not offer up his endorsement of Donald Trump.

Pence defended his position by saying that Trump is “walking away” from the conservative policies that are important to him.

While he is proud of what he and the Trump administration were able to accomplish, Pence said that there isn’t any way he could support Trump.

“I should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year,” Pence said while appearing on Fox News.

“During my presidential campaign, I made it clear there were profound differences between me and President Trump on a range of issues, and not just our differences on our constitutional duties that I exercised on Jan. 6.”

“Donald Trump is pursuing and articulating an agenda that is at odds with the conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years.”

Pence also went on to say that Trump’s national debt stance as well as his inability to come out heavily against abortion is what’s making the former VP divert away from endorsing him.

Trump’s former running mate also declined to say who he would vote for in November. But he did say there was no way he’d vote for President Joe Biden.

“I’m gonna keep my vote to myself,” Pence said.

“I would never vote for Joe Biden.”

There are certainly third party options for Mike Pence to vote for.

However, most of the candidates who are currently running as a third party candidate differ heavily from Pence on a multitude of major issues.

Perhaps Pence will write-in a candidate who he believes would be best to lead the country.

He himself ran for president this election cycle before ultimately dropping out. Maybe a write-in vote for himself is on the table.

But either way, Trump supporters as well as many Republicans can’t be pleased with his lack of an endorsement for the former president.
