A presidential candidate has been disqualified from the 2024 race in a stunning turn of events

Running a campaign isn’t for everyone. This candidate found that out the hard way.

And this presidential candidate has been disqualified from the 2024 race in a stunning turn of events.

President Joe Biden announced his plan to run for re-election earlier this year.

But that doesn’t mean he’s free of Democrat challengers who are willing to battle him in a primary.

Author Marianne Williamson and pro-life Democrat Terrisa Bukovinac all have plans to try and defeat Biden to become the Democrat nominee for President in 2024.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was also running as a Democrat before officially declaring an Independent run earlier this week.

But now, another Democrat has entered the race.

Cenk Uygur, the founder of the Leftist media outlet, the Young Turks, has officially announced his bid for the Democrat nomination for president on Wednesday.

“Yes, I’m running against Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination. Joe Biden is down 24 points on the economy,” Uygur posted on X, formerly Twitter.

“He has no ability to make up that kind of ground on the most important issue. We need a new candidate now!”

There’s one major problem for Uygur. While he is an American citizen, he was born in Turkey, which officially disqualifies him from running for president.

According to the Constitution, a candidate has to be a “natural born citizen” if they want to pursue the Oval Office.

Mr. Uygur is aware of this, and is planning on fighting the Constitution’s requirement.

“I have lawyered up…I’m going to the Supreme Court. Either I’m going to win or I’m going to lose,” Uygur said.

“Now this case is on our side. The precedent is definitely on our side. So, what are you going to do, brother?”

Cenk Uygur believes that the Democrat party is in major trouble if they don’t find a replacement for Biden in an inevitable rematch of 2020 between the President and Donald Trump.

“We’re at four months left, and things must change. Otherwise, we’re almost definitely going to lose to Trump,” the Young Turks founder exclaimed.

While he is determined in his presidential bid, there’s little to no chance of Cenk Uygur being able to get the “natural born citizen” requirement in the Constitution overturned.

That means he’ll have to nervously wait and see if President Biden is capable of running a successful re-election campaign.
