Donald Trump’s legal troubles keep piling up. There doesn’t seem to be an end in sight.
And a Supreme Court judge dropped the hammer on Trump with this catastrophic ruling.
Former President Donald Trump is facing a multitude of criminal charges.
Some of these alleged allegations against him involve overturning the election, and recently, committing fraud through the Trump Organization.
New York Attorney General Letitia James is the one who has filed the charges of fraud against the former President.
A few weeks ago, New York State Supreme Court Justice, Arthur Enogrono ruled that Donald Trump overvalued his net worth and the worth of his assets in order to get better loans from banks.
“[Trump] claims that if the values of the property have gone up in the years since the (financial statements) were submitted, then the numbers were not inflated at that time,” wrote Engoron.
“He also seems to imply that the numbers cannot be inflated because he could find a ‘buyer from Saudi Arabia’ to pay any price he suggests.”
Enogorn, a Democrat, has recently given Trump an new hurdle to work through in the current fraud trial.
Justice Enogorn who is presiding over the trial, issued a gag order against the former President on Tuesday.
This order went into effect after Trump posted on Truth Social a picture of one of the clerks of the judge with Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
The post said, “Schumer’s girlfriend, Alison R. Greenfield, is running this case against me. How disgraceful! This case should be dismissed immediately!!”

The gag rule put in place by Enogorn will now prohibit Trump and anyone else involved in the fraud case from publicly speaking about the members of the Judge’s court staff.
“Personal attacks on members of my court staff are not appropriate and I will not tolerate it under any circumstance,” Justice Engoron said.
“Failure to abide by this order will result in serious sanctions.”
Engoron also noted that Trump’s statement was “disparaging” and also “untrue.”
One of Donald Trump’s favorite strategies is to use social media to attack his political enemies.
But now it looks like he’ll have his hands tied behind his back when it comes to going on the offense regarding this trial.
