A top Biden official just got canned because of this massive scandal

Joe Biden isn’t the only corrupt person in his administration. Now they’re starting to get their just desserts.

And a top Biden official just got canned because of this massive scandal.

The Democrats have been bragging that they won the midterms for days now.

In reality, they are likely going to lose control of the House of Representatives and the fate of the Senate will be determined in a runoff election in December.

Though it wasn’t the red wave everyone was hoping for, it was enough to show that Americans are not happy with the way things have been going.

Inflation is at record levels with Americans taking the largest pay cut in 25 years.

Joe Biden has voiced his support for childhood sex changes, saying states who try to ban the procedures are doing so unlawfully and immorally.

And one of Biden’s biggest blunders has been at the southern border where some 4.1 million illegal immigrants have crossed since he took office.

Kamala Harris and other Democrats have tried to play down the severity of the crisis, but now they’re trying to scapegoat their policies onto one of their own.

That’s why Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas asked Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Chris Magnus to resign his post.

But Magnus is resisting the Biden administration’s efforts to oust even as scandals pile up.

Magnus has only been on the job for approximately a year, and sources claim he has had disagreements with DHS officials on border enforcement policy. Some of Magnus’ responsibilities have been delegated to his subordinates.

DHS authorities did not reply quickly to a request for comment.

According to new DHS data, approximately 2.4 million migrants were held at the border during the fiscal year that ended in September, a 37% rise from the previous year.

Magnus was nominated for the job by President Biden in 2021, and he was confirmed in December of the same year.

Aside from the record border numbers, Magnus has already encountered a lot of controversies. Magnus resolved a sexual harassment and retaliation action with a former officer in 2017, according to Fox News in October 2021. The case came from his service as police chief in Richmond, California.

Magnus was said to be falling asleep during meetings last month.

“He’s not in the game,” an administration official told Politico of Magnus. “Every time there’s a meeting and he’s in it, we’ll get to a conclusion and Magnus will have some sidebar issue that he wants to raise and we’re all like ‘What the f—- is that about?’”

Magnus defended his performance in an October statement to Fox News, saying:

I care a great deal about CBP and the people who work here. In the 10 months I’ve been CBP’s Commissioner, I’ve gotten up to speed on the agency’s many complex areas of responsibility,” he said. “While CBP is an operational — not a policy-making — agency, I’ve been closely involved in the major DHS immigration, border security, trade, and other policy discussions throughout my time as Commissioner. I frequently share insights from CBP’s frontline law enforcement and civilian personnel in those discussions and will continue to do so.
