And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just made her dumbest statement yet.
It goes without saying that Leftist politicians seek to transform America into their twisted socialist ideal.
Rarely do they shout this for all Americans to hear from the rooftops. However, AOC recently let the dog out of the bag.
AOC advocated for widening the southern border of the United States to allow even more illegal immigration because “burdens of capitalism” are preventing Americans from having more children, according to a live video she broadcast to her Instagram account.
Where even do you begin with such a stupid statement? According to AOC, importing low-skill, criminal foreigners—rather than promoting domestic births—is the answer to the nation’s declining birthrates.
Not only that, but how would bringing in a lot of foreigners fix anything if “the burdens of capitalism” are burdensome to present Americans? In light of her reasoning, wouldn’t it be unfair to them?
“There are quite a few countries that are really struggling because young people, under the burdens of capitalism and living in a society that is increasingly concentrating wealth among the rich, we’re not having kids. Or we’re not having kids at the same rate,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
“And we actually need immigrant populations to help balance things out. We can’t continue to fund social security, Medicare, and all of this stuff without immigrants. And it’s always been that way. Don’t act like this is some new trend or anything like that.”
The reality is that a lot of people are moving to our nation because they are aware of how well off they will be because of the massive amounts of money the American government invests in assistance programs for them.
They will use up a lot of our country’s resources.
On top of that, the Census Bureau reports that since 1970, the number of births per year in the United States has been largely steady at roughly 4 million.
Naturally, nothing needs to make sense when you’re spreading Leftist propaganda. Knowing that the media would cover up your absurd assertions allows you to say the most outlandish things with confidence.
Over four million illegal immigrants have entered this country since Joe Biden took office, according to the actual situation.
Record quantities of hazardous drugs, including Fentanyl, have been seen crossing the border and heading for the streets of American cities.
Additionally, according to recent estimates, the federal government funds welfare programs for undocumented immigrants with nearly $200 billion annually.
Since Biden appointed Kamala Harris as his border czar, the problem of undocumented immigration has gotten out of hand.
Texas and other southern states are left to fend for themselves.
According to polls, Americans are tired of Democrats’ open-borders policies, with 54% of respondents labeling the situation as a “invasion.”
You have to question how stupid AOC truly is for picking this hill to die on given that the midterm elections are coming up in November.
