Last weekend, two NYPD officers were pummeled by illegal immigrants in Times Square, with video evidence showing them struggling on the ground with the attackers.
Around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, authorities directed a group of illegal immigrants loitering in the street to move ahead. A battle broke out moments later, with illegal immigrants ganging up on the two police officers, according to The New York Post.
The NYPD revealed video footage of cops attempting to arrest one of the illegal immigrants while others kicked and punched them in the head.

The Post said that four illegal immigrants were apprehended: Darwin Andres Gomez Izquiel, 19, Kelvin Servat Arocha, 19, Juarez Wilson, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24. Following their arrest on assault charges, all four were reportedly freed without bail.
According to police sources, a fifth suspect was apprehended on Monday night and charged with attempting to assault a police officer.
The two officers had minor injuries, including cuts to the face and bruised bodies, and were treated on the scene.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office stated that it is studying the tape and investigating the event.
Reveron, one of the illegal immigrants released without bond, faces two more charges of assault and robbery.
He allegedly “pushed, punched, and bit” a Nordstrom Rack employee after being caught attempting to take a $130 item, and in another alleged robbery attempt at Macy’s last month, Reveron is accused of hitting a loss prevention officer.
The event occurs as New York City tries to deal with the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants who have arrived in the Big Apple over the last two years, taking advantage of President Joe Biden’s permissive border policies.
Earlier this month, Democratic Mayor Eric Adams stated that local officials have noticed that certain illegal immigrants who have arrived in the area are participating in a “robbery pattern.”
“Do I believe that there are some migrants who are committing crimes in the city? Yes. Yes,” Adams responded to a reporter who asked him about the issue.
“There are people who are committing crimes in all walks of life. It’s not just migrants and asylum seekers. I think that we have a number of migrants who have committed crimes. We have a number of non-migrants who are committing crimes,” he added.
The reporter questioned Adams about the data he was using to indicate that migrants had committed crimes.
“There was a robbery pattern, for instance,” Adams responded.
“We identified that this was a robbery pattern, and there were some migrants that participated in that robbery pattern.”
