President Joe Biden needs all the help he can get if he wants to win reelection this year. But he’s only making things harder on himself.
That’s because Biden just backstabbed a close ally in the most shocking way possible.
The establishment media is very hard to trust these days.
There’s numerous polls indicate how Americans view media outlets as having a bias, specifically towards the Democrat Party.
According to a 2023 Gallup poll, 58% of Democrats trust the establishment media.
That’s in comparison to just 11% of Republicans who trust it and 29% of independents who do.
But apparently, President Joe Biden doesn’t think that the media’s bias towards the Left is evident at all.
During a recent interview with the New Yorker, he said that the media doesn’t properly detail how much of a threat former President Donald Trump is to democracy.
“It’s like you’ve all become numbed by it,” Biden said.
“How can we, as a democracy, elect anyone President who says violence is appropriate?”
During that same interview, Biden also said that he doesn’t think that Trump would concede the election if Biden were to end up defeating him.
“Losers who are losers are never graceful. I just think that he’ll do anything to try to win. If–and when–I win, I think he’ll contest it. No matter what the result is.”
Mike Donion, a White House adviser told the New Yorker that he’s trying to make the issue of democracy a top one for the Biden campaign.
And that’s why the president was so adamant about bringing it up during the interview.
Donilon also detailed to the New Yorker that the Biden/Harris campaign’s focal point “will become overwhelming on democracy. I think the biggest images in people’s minds are going to be of January 6th.”
But the fact of the matter is, polls show that democracy isn’t a major issue for voters.
But despite it not being a key issue among voters, Joe Biden will still bark at the media for not trying harder to peddle the Democrat’s insane talking point that Donald Trump is a direct threat to democracy.
“I’m pretty certain in Scranton they’re not sitting around their dinner table talking about democracy every night,” former Barack Obama adviser David Axelrod told the outlet.
“The Republica message is: The world’s out of control and Biden’s not in command. That’s the entire message–Trump, the strongman, is the solution. I think you have to be thinking about how you counter that, and how you deal with fears about Biden’s condition.”
