The president is at it again with committing ridiculous gaffes. But this time, his latest blunder may have seriously damaged his party’s reputation.
As Biden’s latest embarrassing statement has left Democrats on edge.
Tragedy struck Baltimore, Maryland on Tuesday morning after a cargo struck hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge, causing it to collapse.
So far, six people have been presumed dead from the incident.
Hours after the bridge collapsed, President Joe Biden made remarks about the tragedy, however, he embarrassed himself in the process.
“At about 1:30 [a.m.], a container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which I’ve been over many, many times commuting from the state of Delaware either on a train or by car,” the president said.
“I’ve been to Baltimore Harbor many times. And the bridge collapsed, sending several people and vehicles into the water โ into the river.”
There’s one glaring issue with Biden’s statement.
And that’s the fact that he never traveled over the bridge by train because it never had a rail line on it.
Joe Biden has dementia. He claims to have taken the train multiple times over the Francis Scott Key bridge. One problem: the bridge doesnโt have any train tracks. pic.twitter.com/WLwcFD3Rxc

Either the president’s memory has failed him when recalling his travels over the Francis Scott Key Bridge, or he’s straight-up lying.
And at the very least, he’s tried to make himself the center of a tragedy by telling his own personal anecdotes about the bridge.
“So many lies! He lies just to lie,” a user on X said while criticizing the president. “There is no value to him inserting himself into this situation.”
“Ummm…what train tracks is he referencing? Because there are none on the Francis Scott Key bridge,” Alan Sanders, a radio show host said on X.

The White House of course tried to cover for Biden, who’s 81 years old, telling the New York Post that he was only referring to driving over the bridge.
“The President was clearly describing driving over the bridge while commuting between Delaware and D.C. during his 36-year Senate career,” Robyn Patterson, a White House spokesperson said.
Was it really that clear what he was describing?
It sounds clear to us that Biden mentioned taking a train over the bridge that never had train tracks on it.
And why does Joe Biden feel the need to constantly exaggerate his stories? It almost feels like a plan to gather himself more attention.
In the past, he’s stated that he was at Ground Zero just a day after the 9/11 attacks in 2001. But in a book he wrote, he said he was in Washington, D.C. on that day.
So which is it?
The answer probably changes depending on how much attention and Biden is hoping to get that day.
