Joe Biden’s campaign is in full panic mode. The Republicans have them worried sick.
And Biden’s re-election campaign is melting down because of what this Republican did.
After a long and tedious battle to elect a new speaker of the House, Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) was finally elected to take hold of the gavel on Wednesday.
The Republican party of course is thrilled to have a new speaker that will allow the U.S. House to finally start getting things accomplished again.
Democrats on the other hand couldn’t be more upset about the new speaker.
More specifically, President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign is already launching attacks on Johnson over so-called MAGA extremism.
“MAGA Mike Johnson’s ascension to the speakership cements the extreme MAGA takeover of the House Republican conference,” a Biden-Harris 2024 campaign spokesperson, Ammar Moussa told The Hill.
“Now Donald Trump has his loyal foot soldier to ban abortion nationwide, lead efforts to deny free and fair election results, gut Social Security and Medicare, and advance the extreme MAGA agenda at the expense of middle-class families.”

Anytime a strong conservative wins elected office or assumes a position in the government such as speaker of the House, the Left loses their minds.
That was certainly evident in Moussa’s statement, where he basically assumes the sky will now fall because of an “extreme MAGA takeover.”

“[Extreme] MAGA House Republicans elevated a man to be second in line to the presidency who still won’t admit President Biden won the 2020 election. The American people have rejected the extreme MAGA ideology at the ballot box because they understand what’s at stake,” Moussa continued.
“And so, to every MAGA Republican who supported this choice: We’ll see you in November.”
It’s been par for the course for Biden and his campaign to refer to practically every Republican as a MAGA extremist.
They either use that terminology or proclaim that Republicans will “destroy democracy.”
Those talking points by the Left are so tired at this point and have little to no substance.
But they do show that Democrats are scared at the prospects of Mike Johnson being the new speaker of the House.
And if Joe Biden and the Left are terrified at what Johnson might do as speaker, then that could mean very good things are to come for the Republican Party and the American people.
