China’s influences is quickly seeping into the United States. The Left seems oblivious to this fact.
And the Chinese Communist Party has infiltrated U.S. politics thanks to these top Democrats.
Chinese Educator’s Ties to Democrats and CCP Raise Eyebrows
A female educator, pageant champion, and interpreter from China, with connections to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), has forged close relationships with prominent New York Democrats over the past few years, according to a Fox News Digital investigation.
Wang Zaozao, known as “Linda,” hails from Anqing, China. After honing her skills in “Chinese-English interpretation for three years” in her home country, she relocated to the United States to pursue advanced studies at Columbia University, as detailed on her website. This academic journey inspired her to establish the Zao Learning Center in 2018, a platform dedicated to “training of children models/actors with bilingual language skills,” with facilities in New York and Taiwan.
Beyond her role as an educator shaping young Chinese-American talent, Wang has thrived as a “bilingual emcee/TV host for about a decade,” gracing numerous “large-scale cultural events” attended by high-profile Democrats like New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. An archived snapshot of her Zao Center highlights its mission to provide an “excellent learning atmosphere and professional training to set you off to succeed in the mainstream modeling/entertainment industry.”
Wang’s credentials include an “Advanced Interpretation Qualification Certificate” and a Teacher Qualification Certificate from China’s Ministry of Education (MOE), a pivotal CCP institution that shapes “formulate the curriculum” for schools in China and supports international educational exchanges, per its website.
The MOE also oversees the “construction of the [Chinese Communist] Party in institutions of higher learning” and collaborates with other CCP entities. A 2017 report by The Diplomat noted that the MOE spent five years revising liberal arts textbooks to highlighting “socialist core values,” with new editions spotlighting President Xi Jinping’s assertive foreign policy.
Wang’s Instagram, boasting over 2,000 photos, showcases a vibrant mix of pageants, Chinese cultural festivals, and moments with Democratic leaders and CCP diplomats. This month, she shared a “selfie” with a beaming Mayor Adams and CCP diplomat Chen Li, China’s consul general in New York, at the AAPI Heritage Month parade in Manhattan, New York. “So happy to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new friends,” Wang wrote, noting she “Snuck in a quick photo with Consul General Ambassador Chen Li and Mayor Adams before dashing to the next event.”
On June 3, Wang hosted the 2025 East Coast Chinese Alumni Associations’ Summer Picnic and Culture Festival, describing it as “such a joy to share the stage with Congressman Josh Gottheimer, the Mayor and Council Members of Palisades Park.” A Gottheimer spokesperson clarified to Fox News Digital that the congressman “was invited by a local Chinese American community association and shared the stage with several other people during that event,” adding, “Congressman Gottheimer and his team have no relationship with the individual in question, and the Congressman is leading multiple pieces of legislation to crack down on the Chinese Communist Party — our known adversary.”
In February, Wang appeared on stage with Chen Li, who has denied Uyghur genocide, and Schumer at the Brooklyn Lantern Festival Parade, serving as both host and translator for Schumer’s speech. Schumer faced criticism earlier this year for posing with Li at the Lunar New Year Parade. In another post from September of last year, Wang was captured with Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., at an opera event. Goldman’s team told Fox News Digital, “We have no idea who this person is.”
“It was my third time hosting the AAPI culture heritage month parade in mid-town Manhattan New York City,” Wang said last May, sharing a photo with Adams. “Glad to see [NYC Mayor] Eric Adams again.”
Wang also describes herself as a “consultant to the Association for the Promotion of China’s Peaceful Reunification in New York, and a special reporter for the overseas station of ‘Fujian Daily’ Southeast Network,” both entities with direct CCP ties. The New York chapter of the Association has been linked to the CCP’s United Front system, which President Xi Jinping has called a “magic weapon” for advancing CCP interests globally. A 2019 Jamestown Foundation report identified the United Front as a “key executive agent” in controlling overseas Chinese communities, while a 2012 CCPPNR holiday greeting to U.S. lawmakers noted 17 affiliates, including the New York branch.
Fujian Daily Southeast Network, a Beijing-supported outlet, also ties to Winnie Greco, a former Adams fundraiser and aide whose home was searched by the FBI in 2024 during a probe into Adams’ 2021 campaign fundraising. Adams’ corruption indictment was recently dropped, and Greco’s whereabouts remain unclear.
Wang’s posts from 2022 and 2023 feature her with Schumer and Adams at events like the Lunar New Year Parade in Chinatown, with some thanking Schumer for “always supporting our Chinese community event.” Others show her at Adams’ mansion for an Asian Pacific Cultural Heritage event or at a fundraiser during Adams’ transition to mayor. “New Mayor of NYC! You are our old friend,” she captioned a photo with Adams on his inauguration day, showing them giving a thumbs-up.
Wang also hosted an Adams fundraiser, later posting a photo with an Eric L. Adams “Asian Volunteer Group” certificate. She also posed with Gov. Kathy Hochul and Schumer at the Lunar New Year Parade, amid scrutiny of Hochul’s CCP-linked staff hires. Fox News Digital recently reported that a former Hochul aide’s father held senior roles in the CCP’s propaganda apparatus.
Despite Wang’s frequent appearances with Adams, his spokesperson distanced him, stating, “Adams administration does not work with this individual,” and noting, “Thousands of community members take photographs with the Mayor at public events.”
Speaking to Fox News Digital, Arran Hope, editor of China Brief at the Jamestown Foundation, raised concerns about Wang’s CCP connections, pointing to her roles with groups like the U.S.–Fujian Tangtou Friendship Association and the New York United Chinese American Association. “Wang’s ties to the CCP go beyond merely compèring events,” Hope said, noting her position as general secretary of the United Chinese Association’s New York branch and advisor to the New York Association for Peaceful Reunification. Her work has appeared in the People’s Daily and other state media, and in 2020, she supported CCP COVID-19 efforts in Wuhan.
Wang also posted photos with Huang Ping, Chen Li’s predecessor, referenced in the indictment of Hochul’s former aide Linda Sun. The indictment revealed Sun blocked a speechwriter’s attempt to mention Uyghurs in Hochul’s 2021 Lunar New Year message, aligning with Ping’s views. Wang hosted Ping’s farewell dinner, calling it a “night to remember,” and was given an invitation to teach English at the Chinese Consulate in New York. “Photos with Ambassador Huang Ping and his beautiful wife,” she wrote in September 2024.
