Biden’s presidency was a complete disaster. But it may have been worse than it seemed.

And this congressional testimony involving Joe Biden could tarnish his legacy for good.

Senate Probe into Biden Health Cover-Up Gains Momentum

Senate Republicans are charging forward with an investigation into claims that former President Joe Biden’s inner circle and the media concealed his declining health during his time in office. The inquiry, set to kick off with a congressional hearing on Wednesday, marks the first formal examination of these allegations and promises to shed light on who was truly steering the nation during Biden’s presidency.

Witness Lineup Revealed

The hearing, spearheaded by Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.), will feature a carefully chosen panel of witnesses, including former Trump administration officials and a legal expert.

The lineup includes Theodore Wold, who served as acting assistant attorney general in the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Policy and deputy assistant to the president for domestic policy; Sean Spicer, former White House press secretary and communications director; and John Harrison, a University of Virginia School of Law scholar with experience in the Reagan and Bush administrations. Each is expected to offer insights into the alleged efforts to shield Biden’s condition from public view.

Senators Demand Transparency

Sen. Cornyn, in a statement to Fox News Digital, praised the witnesses, noting they “have impressive records defending our Constitution and serving in the West Wing.” He framed the hearing as a critical moment for transparency:

“This week’s hearing is an important opportunity for the American people to get the answers they deserve about who was really running the country when Joe Biden’s health was obviously declining and the constitutional questions raised by an unfit president.”

Sen. Schmitt echoed this sentiment, calling the alleged cover-up “a threat to our nation and it undermined our Constitution — we must ensure it never happens again.” He expressed eagerness to hear from the panel, which he said would provide expertise on “the Constitution, the approval process within the White House, and the media’s access to the President.”

Schmitt emphasized the public’s demand for accountability, adding, “The American people are demanding accountability, and this hearing will be the first step in that process.”

Notably, Democrats on the committee, led by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), opted not to call any witnesses, prompting Fox News Digital to seek comment from Durbin’s office.

House Republicans Join the Push

The Senate’s efforts align with parallel moves in the House, where Republicans are pushing for deeper scrutiny. Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) introduced legislation in May to establish a select committee to investigate “the potential concealment of information from the American public” about Biden’s health.

Meanwhile, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) has summoned several former Biden White House staffers for transcribed interviews to probe their roles in the alleged cover-up.

Of the 10 requested, only four agreed to participate: Neera Tanden, former Domestic Policy Council director; Anthony Bernal, former special assistant to Biden; Ashley Williams, former deputy director of Oval Office Operations; and Annie Tomasini, Biden’s former deputy chief of staff.

As the hearing approaches, the investigation points to a growing demand for answers about what transpired behind closed doors during Biden’s presidency. It’s likely that a mass coverup occurred in order to lie to the American people about the former president’s health.
