Kamala Harris and Tim Walz ran a horrible campaign. Their performance on election night was brutally awful.

And now a Democrat insider has made utterly jaw-dropping claims about Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

Former Democrat Fundraiser Slams Tim Walz and Kamala Harris

A former official from the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Lindy Li, unleashed sharp criticism on Monday aimed at Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. Her remarks came in response to Walz’s recent comments about his unsuccessful presidential campaign alongside former Vice President Kamala Harris. In an interview with Politico published on Saturday, Walz admitted that he and Harris may have played their campaign strategy too cautiously. “We shouldn’t have been playing this thing so safe,” he told the outlet.

Li, appearing on the program “Wake Up America,” offered a scathing take on why the duo avoided media engagements during their run. She suggested it wasn’t strategy but incompetence that kept them out of the spotlight. “I met Tim Walz on a number of occasions and obviously I’ve spent extensive time with Kamala Harris. The reason why they were hiding from the media is because she sucks at it,” Li stated plainly. “I’m sorry that I’m not putting it more eloquently but she was just terrible. They were both terrible. And they put out Tim Walz. I don’t know who thought he was a good idea.”

Her critique didn’t stop there. Li went on to compare Walz unfavorably to Democratic Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, who served as Hillary Clinton’s running mate in 2016. “He was like a second iteration of Democratic Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, but even worse. He turned out to be a pathological liar,” she said. Li pointed to one particularly egregious example: Walz’s repeated claim that he was in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. “Who could possibly think it would be a good idea to lie about being in Tiananmen Square when you were in Nebraska?” she questioned.

Walz’s assertions about his whereabouts during that historic event have drawn significant scrutiny throughout the campaign. The Tiananmen Square massacre, where Chinese authorities violently suppressed pro-democracy protests in Beijing, is believed to have resulted in at least hundreds of deaths—though the true toll remains uncertain due to China’s strict censorship of the event. Walz, however, was not in Hong Kong or anywhere near the protests; records show he was in Nebraska at the time. “I mean, come on. It’s just so beyond the pale,” Li added, expressing disbelief at his fabrications.

Adding fuel to the fire, Walz recently hinted at ambitions for another presidential run in 2028. In a March 2 interview with The New Yorker, he said he would consider a bid if the circumstances and his “skill set” lined up. Li, however, dismissed the idea outright. “And now he’s thinking about running for president? Didn’t he get the memo that the American people do not want a second coming of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz?” she quipped.

Walz’s post-campaign reflections have also revealed regrets about how he handled certain moments during the race. In a February podcast, he admitted to squandering valuable time fixating on President Donald Trump’s inflammatory remarks about Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio—specifically claims that they were eating pets. “I will kick myself that I got sucked in. I bet you I spent three or four days, maybe longer, not clowning, but just hammering them over the eating dogs and cats because it was so ridiculous,” Walz said. “And I took that hook, line and sinker. We were talking about immigration at a critical part of the campaign. And it was hurtful. And it p*ssed me off. And I was standing there to defend people. And it didn’t do a d*mn bit of good electorally.”

For Li, these missteps and Walz’s track record of embellishment only confirm her view that he and Harris were ill-suited for the national stage. Her blunt assessment paints a picture of a campaign plagued by poor decisions and a lack of media savvy—flaws she believes doomed their chances and should rule out any future runs. As Walz mulls his political future, Li’s words serve as a stinging rebuke from within his own party, raising questions about whether his ambitions can overcome the baggage of a troubled campaign.

Lindy Li Says Democrat Party Treats “Woke” Like A Religion

The Democratic Party is grappling with a profound identity crisis following the 2024 presidential election, according to Lindy Li, a former fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee. Li, who has spent years rallying financial support for Democratic campaigns, has emerged as a vocal critic of the party’s current trajectory, painting a picture of chaos and disillusionment among its ranks. She argues that an obsession with what she calls “woke” ideology has left the party directionless, alienating its donor base and lacking credible leadership for the future.

Li’s assessment of the party’s state is stark and uncompromising. “Democratic donors absolutely, without a single exception, they are so angry and upset with the state of the party,” she said. “They think the party is in complete shambles.” For Li, this frustration stems from a leadership vacuum that has left donors questioning the party’s viability. She went further, asserting, “I don’t know how they’re going to get out of this wilderness,” a sentiment fueled by her belief that the party has been overtaken by an ideological fixation. “It’s their religion, it’s their god, woke is their god. This trans, woke insanity – they are enthralled by it,” she declared, pinning the blame for the party’s woes on this cultural shift.

Beyond ideology, Li pointed to a specific cadre of individuals she believes wielded outsized influence during President Joe Biden’s administration, effectively steering the country while capitalizing on their proximity to power. When pressed on who was truly in charge, Li didn’t hesitate to name names. “[Former White House Deputy Chief of Staff] Steve Ricchetti, his senior adviser. Anita Dunn. Mike Donilon. [Former White House chief of staff] Ron Klain, [former White House chief of staff] Jeff Zients. [Former White House counsel] Bob Bauer, his personal lawyer, who’s actually his personal lawyer, who actually leased a book basically grifting off his relationship with the Bidens,” she said. Aware of the potential fallout from her candor, she added, “I’m going to get in so trouble for saying all this. Please give me credit for — but these are the people who ran our country for the last four years.”

Li’s critique didn’t stop at identifying the players; she accused them of exploiting their roles for personal gain. “They were leeching off the Biden name for decades, and all of them realized that they would never work for another president,” she said. “So, they had to ride the gravy train all the way through, you know, ride it to the very end. And that’s why all of them refused to concede the truth which is that Biden is unfit, and he would have been comatose by the time he was 86.” This refusal to acknowledge Biden’s declining capacity, according to Li, was a calculated move to preserve their own positions rather than serve the public.

Li also speculated on Biden’s personal awareness of the situation, suggesting a mix of frailty and detachment. “I think as Joe got older, he — maybe you think I’m naive in saying this — but I’m not even sure if he remembers all of the corruption that he engaged in,” she said. She went on to describe a White House environment where the president’s condition was an open secret, carefully managed by those around him. “My guess is this description of the Bidens, the first lady, his advisors and a White House staff covering up the president’s condition is not a shock to you,” she noted. “A lot of conservatives observed that Biden appeared doddering and confused, and that he was highly dependent upon his staff. And NBC News and other outlets, including National Review, reported on the strangely central role Hunter Biden played in his father’s White House, particularly after the debate.”

The fallout from Li’s outspokenness has taken a toll. Facing intense backlash, she recently shared her emotional turmoil in a raw and personal statement. “I just wanna cry and cry and cry. The pain is so intense, as I watch people shamelessly defame me,” she wrote. “My entire body hurts and my arms are numb. Never planned for any of this to happen. Just wanted to tell the truth.” Her words reveal the personal cost of her decision to speak out against the Democrat Party, a move she insists was driven by a desire for honesty rather than provocation.
