Trump’s cabinet picks aren’t having an easy road in getting confirmed. The radical Left is out to get them at every corner.
And this Trump cabinet nominee was brutally attacked by an unlikely source.
Caroline Kennedy Rages And Urges Senate to Reject RFK Jr. for HHS Secretary
Caroline Kennedy, the sole surviving child of President John F. Kennedy and a former U.S. ambassador, is urging lawmakers to reject her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
In a candid and scathing letter sent to the Senate, she labeled RFK Jr. a “predator” and argued he is “unqualified” both professionally and personally to oversee the nation’s top public health agency.
RFK Jr. is testifying before two Senate committees this week as part of his confirmation process, giving lawmakers an opportunity to scrutinize his qualifications and views. Before these hearings, Caroline reached out to senators, making a forceful case for why she believes he is unfit for the role.
“Throughout the past year people have asked for my thoughts about my cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr and his presidential campaign. I did not comment, not only because I was serving in a government position as United States Ambassador to Australia, but because I have never wanted to speak publicly about my family members and their challenges,” Caroline said in a video of her reading the letter.
“But now that Bobby has been nominated by President Trump to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, a position that would put him in charge of the health of the American people, I feel an obligation to speak.”
Beyond questioning his lack of experience in government, financial management, and public health, Caroline pointed to his personal history as a key reason he should not be entrusted with the role.
She accused RFK Jr. of exploiting their family’s tragedies for personal gain and of leading his relatives into substance abuse.
“It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets, because Bobby himself is a predator,” she wrote. “I watched his younger brothers and cousins follow him down the path of drug addiction. His basement, his garage, his dorm room were always the center of the action – where drugs were available and he enjoyed showing off how he put baby chickens and mice in a blender to feed to his hawks.”
Although she acknowledged that these incidents occurred “a long time ago” and commended her cousin for overcoming his own addiction, she maintained that his influence led to the suffering and death of family members.
“I admire the discipline that took,” she stated. “But siblings and cousins who Bobby encouraged down the path of substance abuse suffered addiction, illness and death, while Bobby has gone on to misrepresent, lie and cheat his way through life.”
Caroline further claimed that RFK Jr. is “addicted to attention and power,” and accused him of capitalizing on their family’s darkest moments. “It’s incomprehensible to me that someone who is willing to exploit their own painful family tragedies for publicity would be put in charge of America’s life and death situations,” she wrote.
She also condemned RFK Jr.’s controversial stance on vaccines, describing his views as “dangerous and willfully misinformed.” He has previously promoted theories linking vaccines to autism and chronic diseases.
“Bobby preys on the desperation of parents of sick children, vaccinating his own kids while building a following hypocritically discouraging other parents from vaccinating theirs,” she wrote. “Overseeing the FDA, the NIH, the CDC and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services—agencies that are charged with protecting the most vulnerable among us is an enormous responsibility and one that Bobby is unqualified to fill.”
RFK Jr.’s confirmation faces significant hurdles as lawmakers from both parties have expressed concerns about his public health positions. Additionally, senators from rural states worry his views on nutrition and agriculture could lead to disruptive policies.
As for Caroline Kennedy and the radical Left, they are dead-set on stopping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from getting confirmed because they know he will help implement President Donald Trump’s policies to help Make America Healthy Again (MAHA).
They view Trump’s and RFK Jr.’s policies as harmful even though they would likely benefit Americans for the better. Meanwhile, those on the Left are advocating for harmful transgender operations and the k*lling of unborn babies through abortion. They should probably take a seat when it comes to making any suggestions on public health.
