Trump is starting to get his revenge. Democrats are now trying to hide wherever they can.

And Donald Trump shredded this Leftist enemy to pieces with just three words.

Trump Torches New York AG Letitia James in Explosive Fraud Controversy

In an explosive Oval Office statement on Tuesday, President Donald Trump branded New York Attorney General Letitia James “a total crook” while expressing confidence that the Justice Department, led by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, would “do what’s right” in response to a criminal referral accusing James of mortgage fraud.

The remarks, delivered with Trump’s signature bluntness, ignited fresh debate over James’ conduct and her high-profile legal battles with the former president.

The controversy stems from a criminal referral submitted on April 14 by Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte, which alleges James falsified financial documents to secure favorable loan terms and government-backed assistance. Pulte’s referral, addressed to Bondi, points to media reports claiming James misrepresented details about properties in Norfolk, Virginia, and Brooklyn, New York.

Specifically, the allegations include falsifying her residence status for a Norfolk home to obtain a lower mortgage rate and misrepresenting a five-unit Brooklyn property as a four-unit residence to qualify for “conforming loans” with less stringent requirements.

“Primary residence mortgages receive more favorable loan terms, including lower interest rates than secondary residence mortgages,” Pulte noted in the referral. He further explained that properties exceeding four units are classified as multifamily, typically requiring larger down payments and higher interest rates—often 0.75 to 1 percent more—due to increased lender risk.

Trump seized the moment to lambast James, calling her “a disaster for New York” and “a horrible, horrible human being.” He added, “I think she’s a total crook, there’s no question about it — but that’s just my opinion.”

The president praised the Attorney General, saying, “Pam is going to do what’s right. She always does. I’ve known her a long time.”

Trump also took aim at James’ character, describing her as “a very bad person” who “campaigned solely on ‘I’m going to get Donald Trump’ over and over again.” The remarks reflect ongoing tensions between the two, as James secured a $364 million judgment against Trump in February 2024 for inflating asset values to secure better loan terms.

Trump’s sons, Eric and Donald Jr., were each ordered to pay $4 million, with the total penalty now exceeding $500 million due to accruing interest as Trump appeals.

James’ office has dismissed Trump’s comments as personal attacks, with a spokesperson stating, “AG James is focused every single day on protecting New Yorkers and upholding the law – not personal attacks, no matter who they come from.” James, an elected Democrat, has denied any wrongdoing in the fraud allegations.

Her attorney, Abbe Lowell, addressed the accusations in an April 24 letter to Bondi, calling them a misunderstanding. Lowell clarified that the Norfolk property was intended for James’ niece, Shamice Thompson-Hairston, and a document “mistakenly stated the property to be Ms. James’ principal residence.”

Regarding the Brooklyn property, Lowell argued it has functioned as a four-unit residence since James purchased it in 2001, with the basement unoccupied.

Bondi, when pressed by reporters about the referral, remained tight-lipped, stating, “we don’t discuss anything pending or not within my office.”

As the Justice Department weighs its next steps, the clash between Trump and James continues to captivate public attention, raising questions about accountability, political motives, and the integrity of New York’s top law enforcement official.
