The FBI-DOJ and Donald Trump scandal is still raging. The Trump team maintains that the outgoing president did nothing wrong.
But Donald Trump was completely taken aback by this DOJ bombshell news.
Divisiveness is emerging in response to Donald Trump’s demand that a special master evaluate the documents seized during the Mar-a-Lago raid.
Radical Leftists are yelling about how unjust it is.
And some members of the Fake News Media apparatus are implying that Trump ought to be imprisoned already.
Trump, though, has the same rights as every other citizen.
That is precisely why the federal judge presiding over the case promptly agreed to his request for a special master.
Additionally, it appears that the DOJ itself has little opposition to the special master.
The DOJ is even reportedly willing to accept Donald Trump’s choice for the independent special master who will examine the materials.
As The Daily Wire reports:
The U.S. Department of Justice signaled in a court filing this week that it is open to accepting one of former President Donald Trump’s picks to be the special master who reviews the documents that the FBI seized from Mar-a-Lago last month.
Prosecutors said in a court filing that they would approve of Raymond J. Dearie for the role due to his “substantial judicial experience,” which includes presiding “over federal criminal and civil cases, including federal cases involving national security and privilege concerns.”
Trump’s demand for a special master is not debatable in any way.
And Raymond J. Dearie, who Trump chose to be the special master, is, to put it mildly, a very qualified choice.
Ronald Reagan initially appointed him to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York in 1986.
He worked there for 25 years.
In 2012, he subsequently moved on to fill the position of Judge of the US Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, where he remained until 2019.
If Raymond is chosen as the special master, his extensive background in conservative judicial leadership would be beneficial to the Trump/DOJ argument.
The records in question were already declassified when Donald Trump was still in office, and he has claimed that he has nothing to conceal.
We might learn further reasons why the FBI and DOJ are closely examining Donald Trump as a result of this impartial review.
However, at this time, it appears to be just another unconstitutional witch hunt to demonize Donald Trump.
