Election Day is almost here. But the wild predictions are only getting started.
And this former Clinton operative made the most insane 2024 election prediction that’ll leave you speechless.
In a striking warning, veteran Democratic strategist James Carville recently shared his concerns about what a second Trump presidency could mean for political critics, suggesting the former president might even seek to round them up.
Carville voiced these concerns during an interview with MSNBC’s Ari Melber on Monday, where he laid out a grim but also completely unfounded scenario should Trump return to power, emboldened by his previous rhetoric.
Trump’s critics have long scrutinized his strongman-like promises about how he would govern, and Carville believes that a victorious Trump would feel empowered to act on them. “If he wins, he’s gonna say, ‘I told people I was going to do this. I have the legitimacy of an election behind me,’ and you know what? He will have a point,” Carville said.
His frustration was palpable as he noted that much of the current political discourse focuses on polling rather than the weightier consequences of such a presidency. “We’ve become a nation of polling analysts,” Carville lamented, arguing that the media’s obsession with poll numbers detracts from the real issues at stake.
According to Carville, those stakes are nothing short of the U.S. Constitution itself. “People say, ‘What’s at stake in this election?’ I say the Constitution is at stake,” he said. Carville stressed that Trump has made his intentions clear, and the very rule of law in the U.S. could be at risk if those warnings go unheeded.
He also took issue with media discussions of polling trends, specifically around Vice President Kamala Harris and her support among Black and Hispanic men, calling such talk trivial compared to the bigger threat of Trump’s return to power.
In a sharp rebuke, Carville warned, “He’s gonna arrest all of ya. You think you don’t have a stake in this election? Guess what? You’re not gonna do very well, I’m not gonna do well. You’re not gonna do well, Ari.”
Carville went on to suggest that the repercussions of a Trump presidency could be felt widely, even by those in the media or politics who don’t see themselves as directly involved.
“When the paddy wagon comes, you and I are going to be in the back of it, bouncing around,” he strangely said.
This warning was echoed by others in the media, including MSNBC host Al Sharpton and frequent guest Donny Deutsch, who also voiced their fears that they might end up on an enemies’ “list” under a Trump presidency.
They speculated that imprisonment — or worse — could await them if Trump were to take office again.
The Left Use Of Fear-Mongering To Sway Voters
Radical Leftists like James Carville have been going on and on about how Donald Trump is a threat to democracy and that he will imprison his political opponents.
They must not be paying attention to the Department of Justice under Biden/Harris which has gone directly after Trump ever since he lost the election in 2020.
Not only that, but Donald Trump has already served as president for one term. During that term, he did not jail his political opponents.
And most importantly, he did not turn into the dictator the Left suggests he is.
Democrats are simply pushing these false allegations in order to fear monger and convince voters that Trump is a danger to the nation.
But unfortunately for them, their plans are failing as many polls show the former president ahead of Kamala Harris in key battleground states.
