The liberal news outlet loves the Biden administration. They’ll do anything and everything to cover for it’s many mistakes.
But a hot mic catches an MSNBC host saying the unthinkable about Joe Biden.
On a Monday episode of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” host Joy Reid was discussing Republicans in Congress and their alleged failures.
“Congressional Republicans love to latch on to President Biden and Democrats’ successful policies and take credit for things they didn’t do while tying themselves into pretzels to do nothing for the American people for the sake of Donald Trump,” Reid began in her rant.
“Case in point, fixing what they say is a crisis at the border with congressional negotiators continuing work on a bipartisan deal to tie border policies to funding for Ukraine.”
“Over the weekend President Biden said he’s ready to take action if Congress is serious about solving the issue.”
Reid then played a clip of Biden during a speech in South Carolina on Saturday.
“If that bill were the law today, I would shut down the border now. Congress needs to get it done,” Biden said in the clip.
While the clip played, Reid could be heard uttering an explicit phrase off camera which we won’t show you due to the foul language involved.
“Starting another f*****g war,” Reid could be heard saying.
Reid played off the hot mic incident like nothing happened, but then made an apology at the end of the show.
“Before we go, I just want to apologize very quickly. I was chatting during a clip that was playing, and you know, we try to keep this show very PG-13,” she said.
“I just want to apologize to anyone who was listening to my behind the scenes chatter. I’m deeply, deeply sorry for that. As you know, it’s PG-13 around here.”
How does a professional news anchor on a mainstream media outlet not realize that her mic is on in that situation?
The excuse of “behind the scenes chatter,” seems rather careless especially since she was in the middle of a show and wouldn’t have all that much time to “chatter.”
And was her comments specifically targeted at Joe Biden?
Some members of the Left have started to become agitated with his foreign policy as of late.
That includes calls for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Perhaps Reid is one of those frustrated Leftists. Either that, or she was just acting careless while on the job.
