President Joe Biden’s decision to send troops to the border has caused a crisis that is almost too bad to think about.
Mexican drug cartels are making a lot of money because the southern border is so open. They are flooding the country with dangerous drugs like fentanyl.
The number of people dying from drug overdoses, mostly from fentanyl, is skyrocketing and will pass 100,000 per year in 2021.
Under the Biden administration, Fentanyl is the leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 18 and 45.
Pat Fallon, a Republican from Texas, pointed out the scary truth about the fentanyl crisis.
The Texas Congressman said that China is using fentanyl to fight a “asymmetrical war” against the US, and he criticized Biden for not holding Chinese President Xi Jinping accountable for the disaster.
Fallon said on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures that President Biden is making it easier for Mexican drug cartels to bring fentanyl into the country.
“It’s a de facto open border right now,” Fallon said. “We have 160 countries represented by people that have been crossing the border illegally.”
In the past year, the Border Patrol caught a record-setting 2.3 million illegal immigrants. It is unknown how many others got into the country without being caught.
“We caught 98 people on the terrorist watch list. Drugs and the cartels,” Fallon continued. “It’s unbelievable the policies that Joe Biden put in place to empower the cartels.”
Along with fentanyl, more and more illegal immigrants who were on the FBI’s terrorism database are being caught at the border. Three were caught in the last two years of the Trump administration.
Since Biden was in office, the federal government has seized 28,000 pounds of fentanyl, which Fallon said was enough to kill every American several times over.
“Most of the fentanyl is made in China and ferried through Mexico,” Fallon said. “This is asymmetrical warfare being waged by the Communist Chinese on our country and Joe Biden doesn’t have the guts to even bring it up to Xi Jinping when he talks to him.”
China makes the chemicals that are used to make fentanyl. These chemicals are then sent to Mexico, where fentanyl is made.
The Chinese government has decided not to help the Biden administration stop the flow of chemicals to Mexico.
The Biden regime says that the Chinese government, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the State Department have stopped talking about how to work together to stop fentanyl.
The fentanyl crisis is causing a lot of terrible pain in the country because Joe Biden is so set on having open borders.
