Kamala Harris campaign caught using devious election strategies to gain upper-hand on Trump

Democrats will do anything they can to win an election. That includes Harris and her team.

And Kamala Harris’ campaign was caught using devious election strategies to gain an upper hand on Trump.

Who can forget President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign strategy where he basically hid in his basement the whole election cycle?

This was an effort from him and his campaign to avoid tough questioning from the media that could allow for voters to view him in a negative light.

But now it seems as though Vice President Kamala Harris is trying to adopt a similar campaign strategy.

Harris Campaign Restricts Media Interaction, Reflecting Media Strategy Concerns

The Harris campaign reportedly took an unusual step on Monday by barring media reporters from talking with voters outside a rally in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

This decision highlights Vice President Kamala Harris’s limited media accessibility, suggesting a potential concern about the media questioning voters about her harmful policies.

It also hints at the possibility of a campaign strategy similar to President Joe Biden’s, characterized by infrequent solo press conferences and limited live interviews.

In 2019, GovTrack’s scorecard ranked Harris as the most liberal senator, positioning her further left than even socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

However, GovTrack later clarified in July that the ranking was based on a “single calendar year” of data, which was “not sufficient to create a reliable portrait of the activity of legislators.”

Additionally, the New York Times rated Harris as the least electable among ten potential Democrat nominees, pointing to her perceived weaknesses as a candidate.

Steve Peoples of the Associated Press highlighted this strange campaign tactic on X, saying, “Note that the Harris campaign staff here at PA event allowed me to leave the press pen to talk to voters after someone from Delaware headquarters intervened.”

This statement highlights the campaign’s cautious approach to media interactions, especially as Harris navigates the scrutiny of her evolving political positions.

As the initial “honeymoon” phase of Harris’s candidacy ends, her relationship with the media will likely face more challenges.

Since becoming the de facto nominee for the Democratic Party, Harris has yet to participate in a one-on-one interview, possibly due to concerns over policy confrontations.

In recent developments, Harris’s policy stances appear to be shifting. The New York Times reported on Monday, citing anonymous campaign officials, that Harris now supports fracking, aims to increase border funding, does not advocate for mandatory buybacks of assault weapons, and has distanced herself from supporting “a single-payer health insurance program.”

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign remains steadfast in its strategy. Karoline Leavitt, the national spokeswoman for the Trump campaign, stated in Politico Playbook, “Kamala Harris is just as incompetent as Joe Biden and even more liberal. Not only does Kamala need to defend her support of Joe Biden’s failed agenda over the past four years, she also needs to answer for her own terrible weak-on-crime record in California.”

“A vote for Kamala is a vote to continue inflation, open borders, high gas prices, and war around the world.”

Public opinion seems divided on Harris’s qualifications for the presidency. An Economist/YouGov poll indicates that only 39 percent of registered independents consider Harris “qualified” for the role, reflecting the challenges she faces in winning over voters.
