Vice President Harris has really done it this time. She let the cat out of the bag and now the Left is panicking.
And Kamala Harris’s moronic slip of the tongue shows who’s really running the White House.
President Joe Biden’s mental fitness has been a major concern, especially as of late.
That’s caused many Americans to question whether or not he’s actually involved in making decisions as commander-in-chief.
But now we may finally have an answer.
Kamala Harris Claims She’s The President During Speech
Vice President Kamala Harris inadvertently referred to herself as the “president” on Thursday while giving a eulogy for the late Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas).
The slip, which occurred during a ceremony in Houston, elicited an enthusiastic response from the audience as Harris quickly corrected herself.
Surrounded by prominent Democratic figures, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, Harris spoke about the legacy of Congresswoman Jackson Lee, who had a career in public service. Reflecting on Jackson Lee’s contributions, Harris highlighted the congresswoman’s role in introducing legislation to recognize Juneteenth as a federal holiday.
“Which as a US Senator, I was proud to co-sponsor and then as presi–” Harris began, momentarily stumbling over her words.
She promptly corrected herself, saying, “As vice president, it was my honor – with the president! With the president!” The crowd responded with cheers and applause.
Harris continued, emphasizing her collaboration with President Joe Biden: “It was my honor – it was my honor, with our president Joe Biden to stand beside Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee as our president signed her bill into law.”
The incident comes amid ongoing questions about President Biden’s mental acuity and his decision to suspend his re-election campaign, endorsing Harris as the party’s nominee on July 21.
Despite speculation, the White House has maintained that Biden will serve out the remainder of his term.
In her address, Harris spoke fondly of her relationship with Jackson Lee and the role the congresswoman served in both the House and her home state of Texas.
Jackson Lee passed away on July 19 at the age of 74 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, ending a nearly three-decade-long tenure in the House, which began in 1995.
“Sheila Jackson Lee was a woman of deep faith and deep compassion. She was a proud member of our beloved Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and she was a dear, dear friend to my husband Doug and me,” Harris expressed.
She also shared a personal anecdote about the bond between her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, and Jackson Lee, mentioning their shared involvement in various events, including those within the Jewish community in Houston.
“You may not know, but Sheila and Doug, my husband, struck up a fast friendship in recent years. And they did a number of events together, including with the Jewish community here in Houston. Because she, of course, was also a coalition builder. And she fought for everybody knowing that the vast majority of us have so much more in common than what separates us,” Harris noted.
