Leaked recording involving Trump prosecutor exposes major Leftist legal scheme

Donald Trump has been fighting back against a weaponized justice system. It’s the only way the Left can stop him.

And a leaked recording involving this Trump prosecutor exposes a major Leftist legal scheme.

In a recent undercover recording, Nicholas Biase, chief spokesman for the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office, was caught criticizing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his handling of the high-profile prosecution against former President Donald Trump.

Biase’s comments, secretly recorded by an operative from conservative podcaster Steven Crowder’s “Mug Club,” accuse Bragg of using the case to boost his own political ambitions through “lawfare.”

“Honestly, I think the case is nonsense,” Biase remarked during the conversation, recorded on July 31. The footage, released by Crowder on social media, shows Biase describing the hush money case against Trump as a “perversion of justice.”

He suggested that Bragg, a figure he has known for 15 years, was pursuing the prosecution to elevate his public profile and eventually run for higher office. “He wants to be, something … a mayor? I’m not sure what he wants to be, but I know he’s not happy just being the DA of New York County,” Biase added.

Biase’s blunt critique reflects growing skepticism about the motivations behind Bragg’s aggressive legal pursuit of Trump.

The former president was convicted on 34 felony charges related to falsifying business records in connection with payments made during the 2016 election. Trump is set to be sentenced in mid-September.

In the recording, Biase expressed concerns about the case, accusing Bragg of “stacking charges” to ensure a conviction. He also implied that the charges might be politically motivated, suggesting that Democrats, including Bragg, were obsessed with prosecuting Trump. “The Democrats… It affects his candidacy if he’s a convicted felon,” Biase said.

Despite the convictions, Biase pointed out that the case had not derailed Trump’s political ambitions. “Those felonies did nothing to stop Trump from running … In fact, they made him more relevant,” he stated.

This line of thinking highlights a potential backlash effect, where legal actions against Trump seem to strengthen his position among supporters rather than diminish his influence.

Biase did not stop at Bragg’s case. He also criticized other state-level prosecutions, including Georgia’s District Attorney Fani Willis, who charged Trump and 18 co-defendants for allegedly attempting to overturn the 2020 election. Biase labeled the prosecution a “travesty of justice,” describing Willis as “a joke.”

Throughout the video, Biase made a distinction between federal and state legal systems, condemning the state-level system as chaotic and politically driven. He pointed out that federal prosecutors must abide by a 90-day rule that prevents legal actions from affecting elections, a rule that state-level prosecutors don’t follow. “The state level is like the f—king Wild West … They are like idiots. They don’t care. They’re all political,” he said.

Following the release of the recording, Biase quickly issued an apology, explaining that his comments were made in a private setting to someone he had “just met” and that he was trying to “impress.”

In a statement, Biase expressed regret, acknowledging that his remarks did not reflect his true views on the prosecutions. “I’m deeply sorry to the local and state law enforcement officials working on these matters, who deserve more respect than I showed them,” Biase said.

For some, Biase’s remarks have created waves, raising questions about the integrity and political motivations behind Trump’s legal battles.

But for others, his comments prove all along that the legal case brought against Trump is just another example of the Democrats weaponizing the justice system against him.

And now the Left has to be panicking that their tactic to take down the former president is getting further exposed.
