Hollywood elitists can’t stand the former president. Their disdain for him even trickles down to his supporters.
And a leftist celebrity smacks Trump on live TV with an appalling criticism.
Now that 2024 is officially here, all eyes are on the presidential election in November.
That means people are going to make their voices heard on who the right candidate is to lead the country as commander-in-chief.
Celebrities are not shy about offering their opinion, but unfortunately, their beliefs usually align on the Left.
And that was certainly the case for the band Green Day and their lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, who were not shy in spewing anti-Trump rhetoric during a live TV performance on New Year’s Eve.
The band was performing their song “American Idiot” on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve Rockin’ Eve” on ABC.
But instead of singing the original lyrics, “I’m not part of a redneck agenda,” Armstrong changed them to, “I’m not part of the MAGA agenda.”
🔥🚨DEVELOPING: Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong altered the lyrics in “American Idiot” to sing, “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda,” during the band’s performance on Ryan Seacrest’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

Armstrong has actually spewed more vile criticisms of Donald Trump than the one he did on Sunday night.
Leading up to the 2016 presidential election, he compared Trump to Adolf Hitler.
And in November of that year, he and his band chanted “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA!” while performing at the American Music Awards.
In 2018, then-President Trump lashed out at Kim Jong Un in a post on Twitter (now known as X). That caused Armstrong to call for his impeachment.
And last year, when the Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade, the Green Day singer announced that he was “renouncing his citizenship,” and allegedly told a crowd at a concert, “f*** the Supreme Court of America.”
It’s no secret that Armstrong and the members of Green Day have their negative feelings towards Trump and his supporters.
But with the 2024 election rapidly approaching, more and more celebrities like Armstrong, are going to make their opinions known.
You’ll most likely not hear any Right-leaning opinions from Hollywood celebrities, as they would be quickly canceled by the Leftist mob.
This presidential election serves to be one of the most important elections in decades.
That only means the political activism from Democrat Hollywood elitists will be impossible to avoid.
