Cheney is a faux-Republican. Practically anything she does is not in the party’s best interest.

And Liz Cheney and a fellow RINO just made a presidential campaign announcement that has heads exploding.

Former Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-NC) are two of the biggest RINOs to exist.

They can’t stand former President Donald Trump and what he stands for.

They were the only two members of the GOP who were on the January 6 committee which tried to hold Trump responsible for allegedly inciting an insurrection on January 6, 2021.

And now they’ve decided to get involved in the Republican primary race to try and stop Trump from winning.

Kinzinger made an announcement through a post on X that he had donated $250 to Republican candidate Nikki Haley’s campaign.

This was after she had lost to Trump in the New Hampshire primary.

“I just donated $250 to [Haley], I want to make sure I am never invited to that cheap and awful S-hole club called Mar-A-Lago. I don’t want to catch weak victimitis. I’m Thankful that sweaty Don gave us a way to ban ourselves,” Kinzinger’s post said.

“Literally had no intention of giving to her until that Trump tweet. The more we get in his head the more cortisol in his body the more he cracks,” another one of his posts said.

Kinzinger was referring to a Trump post on social media that said any donor of Haley’s would be “permanently banned” from the MAGA movement.

“Nikki “Birdbrain” Haley is very bad for the Republican Party and, indeed, our Country…Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently banned from the MAGA camp,” read part of Trump’s post on Truth Social.

And when making an appearance on an episode of the Pod Save America podcast, Liz Cheney announced she would also be supporting Haley.

“What we watched [Trump] do in the lead up to January 6, his attempt to seize power, presents an existential threat…And right now, Nikki Haley is in this fight [to keep Trump out of office] and I think she ought to stay in it,” Cheney said.

Cheney and Kinzinger still have a lot of resentment for Trump.

They should probably just go ahead and declare themselves Democrats since they complain more about the former president than current President Biden who is destroying the country.
