Donald Trump isn’t the only one who’s willing to fight back against the radical Left. Most of his family are joining him in the fight as well.
And a major announcement from the Trump family has Democrats on their knees.
Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of President-elect Donald Trump, has announced that she will no longer be in the running to replace outgoing Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio.
Her statement, which included a hint of exciting news on the horizon, has added intrigue to the evolving political landscape.
The decision comes over a month after President-elect Trump selected Rubio as his nominee for Secretary of State, sparking speculation that Lara Trump might fill the soon-to-be-vacant Senate seat.
“After an incredible amount of thought, contemplation, and encouragement from so many, I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the United States Senate,” Lara Trump shared on X.
Expressing gratitude for the support she received, she reflected on her time as RNC co-chair during what she described as “the most high-stakes election of our lifetime.”
She thanked her supporters in Florida and across the country for their encouragement, emphasizing how much their kind words had meant to her.
She also teased a “big announcement” coming in January, reaffirming her dedication to public service.
“I remain incredibly passionate about public service and look forward to serving our country again sometime in the future,” she wrote, while wishing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis success with his Senate appointment.

Lara Trump recently stepped down from her role as co-chair of the Republican National Committee, a position she had held since March. Her departure added fuel to speculation about her potential Senate bid.
Married to Eric Trump, the second son of Donald Trump, Lara has been a prominent figure in Republican circles.
President-elect Trump had reportedly been pushing for Governor DeSantis to appoint her as Rubio’s replacement but revealed last week that he was no longer expecting that outcome.
There have been talks of Lara Trump going into television, most likely as a political commentator.
But whatever she decides to do, Donald Trump is confident that she’ll be very successful with it.
As for Rubio’s confirmation as Secretary of State and if it proceeds in January, Governor DeSantis will be responsible for appointing a senator to serve out the remainder of Rubio’s six-year term, which runs until 2026.
DeSantis has emphasized his desire for a candidate who will advance the president-elect’s priorities, including strong immigration and border security policies, tackling bureaucracy, and championing conservative principles. He is expected to make his selection early next month.
With Lara Trump stepping back from this race but hinting at a major announcement, all eyes remain on her next move as Florida’s political future continues to unfold.
