Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert caught in Congressional catfight

Tempers can flare when you make a career in politics. But it usually isn’t against your own party.

And Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert were caught on video in a Congressional catfight.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene allegedly referred to Rep. Lauren Boebert as a “little b*tch” during a heated debate on the House floor on Wednesday.

According to the Daily Beast, the face-to-face fight was over competing resolutions to impeach President Biden, which were captured by C-SPAN cameras.

“I’ve donated to you, I’ve defended you. But you’ve been nothing but a little bitch to me,” Greene (R-Ga.) reportedly told Boebert (R-Colo.).

“And you copied my articles of impeachment after I asked you to cosponsor them.”

Following Greene’s curse, Boebert responded by shrugging her shoulders and stating, “OK, Marjorie, we’re through,” according to the report.

“We were never together,” Greene reportedly shot back, as Boebert had her back turned.

The squabble erupted after Boebert used a procedural tactic to force a vote on her impeachment proposal against the preferences of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and other Republicans.

Greene had earlier proposed impeachment articles against the president in May, but without the procedural measure to trigger a vote.

According to witnesses, it was Boebert who approached a sitting Greene before the name-calling to confront her about “statements you made about me publicly.”

The offices of neither Boebert nor Greene responded to The Post’s request for comment.

After the public spat, the Colorado Republican told the Daily Beast that “Marjorie is not my enemy. I came here to protect our children and their posterity. Joe Biden and the Democrats are destroying our country. My priorities are to correct their bad policies and save America.”

Greene told the publication, “Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.”

Regardless of where you fall on the Boebert-Greene divide, we should all agree that this nothing but a needless distraction.

Who cares if one person or the other introduces articles of impeachment first?

Democrats are systematically dismantling the foundational principles and norms our country was founded on.

And we’re supposed to be concerned with glory seekers and clout chasers?

Boebert and Greene should focus more on fighting the Democrats rather than each other.
