Tensions are starting to rise among presidential hopefuls as the 2024 election quickly approaches. Some politicians are letting the stress get the best of them.
And Megyn Kelly details a shocking confrontation with a deranged presidential candidate.
Last Wednesday, NewsNation hosted the fourth Republican presidential primary debate.
The debate featured Republicans, Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Chris Christie.
All of the candidates exchanged their disagreements with one another, but former New Jersey Governor Christie felt the need to also go after the moderators.
During a commercial break, Christie was seen angrily speaking with Megyn Kelly and Eliana Johnson.

“He was p*ssed off,” Kelly said of the exchange during an episode of The Megyn Kelly Show.
“He was mad that he wasn’t getting enough questions. And he said, ‘I made it up at this stage, and I haven’t been able to speak in awhile. And I should have been brought in on that last debate.'”
Kelly explained to Christie that he would indeed get more time to speak as the debate goes on.
“I said, ‘We’re coming to you. You’re going to be happy in the second hour,’ which I live up to,'” Kelly said.
Kelly also added that the “even distribution of questions got mucked up from all the arguing,” between DeSantis, Haley, and Ramaswamy.
“We let them fight in the first 40 minutes of the debate and therefore that comes at the expense of something,” Kelly continued.
Chris Christie is currently polling at 2.8% according to FiveThirtyEight.
Megyn Kelly explained that that’s why he received fewer questions and time than the other candidates on the stage.
“In no debate ever, and I’ve now done six of them, have we given as many questions to the guy who’s at 3% as to the person who’s in the lead, at least among the candidates that are on the stage. I’m sorry, Gov. Christie. That’s the way it is,” she said on her program.
“Vivek got 22 minutes, DeSantis 21, Haley 17, Christie 16 and 52 seconds. So he was a half a minute behind Haley, who’s tied up there for number one.”
Christie seemed heated all night during the debate, not just during his complaints to Kelly.
At one point he lit into Ramaswamy, saying, “This is the fourth debate. The fourth debate that you will be voted in the first 20 minutes as the most obnoxious blowhard in America,” the former governor said.
