And an MSNBC anchor has been exposed for lying through their teeth during explosive interview.
In a display of media double standards, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace boldly asserted that no Democrat has ever likened President Donald Trump to Adolf H-tler. This claim flies in the face of reality, as numerous high-profile Democrats have repeatedly hurled such inflammatory comparisons at Trump over the years.
Wallace made her eyebrow-raising statement during an interview with Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker on The Best People podcast. She highlighted how Trump’s vice-presidential pick, JD Vance, had once been sharply critical of Trump back in 2016.
According to Reuters, Vance didn’t hold back in his early assessments of Trump. “He was harshly critical of Trump, both publicly and privately, in 2016 and during the opening stages of Trump’s 2017-2021 term in the White House.”
In a private Facebook message that year, per the outlet, Vance wrote: “‘I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical asshole like Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he’s America’s H-tler,’ he wrote privately to an associate on Facebook in 2016.”
Wallace seized on this, declaring: “JD Vance called Donald Trump, America’s H-tler.” She framed it as non-partisan intrigue, noting Vance’s own words and journalistic reports on the matter.
She went on to praise Pritzker for drawing parallels that implicate everyone, saying: “It’s not a partisan analysis. There is an intrigue there that’s been noted by JD Vance and reported on by journalists. But, you’ve put some architecture behind the parallels that involve all of us, and you’ve talked about….. the first thing you said, was people being asked for their papers, American citizens being asked to show up with papers, street vendors being asked to produce passports, rounding people up, and good people looking the other way.”
Pritzker had just warned about dire happenings in America under Trump, accusing him of plotting to meddle in the 2026 elections with military force. He claimed Trump was sticking to a historical script seen in authoritarian regimes.
When pressed, Pritzker tried to distance himself: “I haven’t suggested that Donald Trump is H-tler.”
Wallace jumped in to back him up: “I don’t think any Democrat has.” She added, “I actually, I think it’s a smear that they project back onto critics. JD Vance called Donald Trump ‘cultural heroin.’ He called him ‘America’s H-tler.’”
This denial ignores a long list of Democrats who’ve done exactly that. Take former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke, who in October 2019 told Al Sharpton on MSNBC that Trump mirrored H-tler in his use of propaganda, according to reports from Breitbart News.
O’Rourke said: “‘This idea from Goebbels and H-tler that the bigger the lie and the more often you repeat it, the more likely people are to believe it,’ he said in an interview with MSNBC’s Sharpton, ‘that is Donald Trump to a T'”
Then there’s Representative Jasmine Crockett from Texas, who in a July MSNBC interview about Jeffrey Epstein documents, labeled Trump a “wannabe H-tler.”
Crockett elaborated: “She added, ‘They want to show that they’re loyal to this, you know, I don’t even know what to call him. I’ve called him so many things, but this wannabe H-tler for sure. They want to pledge their loyalty to him, and they know that he does not want this released. I think they also are concerned about the damage that it may do. If he’s trying to hide it, they understand that it is most likely problematic for him as well as the MAGA brand, as well the Republicans. So, I don’t anticipate that they will be on board for doing anything that may harm them or their fearless leader.”
Even Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign got in on the act, according to Breitbart News. In December 2023, their official rapid response account on X posted an image headlined “Trump Parrots H-tler,” juxtaposing statements from both figures.
And let’s not forget Hillary Clinton, the 2016 loser, who stoked panic by warning that a second Trump term would turn him into a full-blown dictator. These examples pile up, exposing Wallace’s claim as pure fantasy.
The irony here is thick: Wallace leans on Vance’s old, pre-alliance jabs at Trump to paint him as dangerous, while ignoring her own party’s relentless H-tler analogies. It’s classic left-wing media tactics—accuse others of what you’re guilty of.
