MSNBC’s Joy Reid has an all-time meltdown over these election results

The radical Leftist media is beside themselves. They can’t believe the defeat they just suffered.

And MSNBC’s Joy Reid has an all-time meltdown over these election results.

As election results started rolling in on Tuesday night, it was apparent that Vice President Kamala Harris was going to lose the presidential election to Donald Trump.

Not only that, but it was also apparent that Republicans would take over the Senate as well.

And one of the first states to count all of their votes was the state of Florida. Florida was always going to go red, but no one was expecting Trump to win the state by as much as he did.

But Trump wasn’t the only thing on the ballot for conservatives in the Sunshine State. A crucial abortion amendment was on the ballot as well, and thankfully Florida voters rejected it. If it were to have passed, it would have allowed for the right to an abortion in Florida to be protected by law.

And while conservatives celebrated this victory, the radical Left, specifically MSNBC’s Joy Reid couldn’t have been more furious.

Joy Reid Suggests DeSantis Is A Fascist For Helping To Stop Pro-Abortion Amendment

On Tuesday, MSNBC anchor Joy Reid voiced strong criticism against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, accusing him of using “openly fascist” tactics in his opposition to Amendment 4.

This ballot measure would have protected the right to abortion in Florida, preventing state laws that “prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health.”

Ultimately, the amendment failed to reach the 60% approval threshold required to pass, finishing with 58% of votes in support.

In the 2024 presidential election, Florida was called for Trump on Tuesday night, a state he has won in both the 2016 and 2020 elections. Trump is running against Vice President Kamala Harris.

She argued that the governor has “put everything on it,” deploying what she characterized as coercive government power and making “threats, whatever it takes to try to make sure that that amendment fails.” Reid described this approach as “openly fascist and very determined,” underscoring her view of DeSantis’s authoritarian leanings.

Beyond the immediate issue of abortion rights, Reid argued that DeSantis’s approach is tied to his ambitions within the Republican Party. The governor’s rallying against the amendment, she suggested, is part of a larger strategy to position himself as “the heir to Donald Trump” within the GOP.

DeSantis was among several Republicans who ran against Trump in the 2024 presidential primary, though he suspended his campaign in January and later endorsed Trump.

In addition to Amendment 4, Florida voters considered Amendment 3 – an amendment which would legalize recreational marijuana use – which also failed to meet the 60% approval benchmark.

The final tally showed 55.7% in favor and 44.3% against when the Associated Press called the race with approximately 90% of ballots counted.

Meanwhile, in the 2024 presidential election, Florida was called for Trump on Tuesday night, marking his third consecutive win in the state after victories in both 2016 and 2020.
