Haley departed from the race earlier this month. But now things are changing big time.
And Nikki Haley’s 2024 presidential election comeback was announced by this prominent Leftist.
Bill Maher, a Liberal comedian and host of HBO’s “Real Time,” has made a shocking assessment regarding both former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley and President Joe Biden.
Maher suggested last week that Biden should ditch Vice President Kamala Harris and have Haley step in as his running mate.
“I know it’s crazy to think that she could run with Biden, but that’s my dream, a unity ticket,” Maher explained.
“And then he would, I think, definitely win.”
“And of course, she’s said some crazy things. Most politicians have – not as crazy as ‘We’ve never been a racist country.’ I mean, that’s pretty crazy.”
Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) was also a name Maher threw out as a possible running mate for Biden.
“Something to reach across so that we don’t live in this world where everybody sees the other side as an existential threat,” Maher added.
Both Romney and Haley’s names have been thrown out there as possible picks for either a third-party presidential candidacy or a third-party vice presidential candidacy over recent months.
Haley bowed out of the presidential race the day after Super Tuesday earlier this month.
She had a very disappointing finish to her campaign and was only able to pick up 94 delegates throughout the entire Republican primary.
Former President Donald Trump was able to beat her convincingly in primary voting contests that have occurred so far, leading to her dropping out of the race.
Haley’s campaign was criticized by staunch conservatives who felt that she had too many RINO tendencies.
They also were alarmed at how many Democrats donated to her campaign or voted for her in the primary.
And if a Leftist like Bill Maher is willing for her to run alongside Joe Biden, then that definitely shows you how Haley has failed at presenting herself as a conservative.
Unfortunately for Maher though, Haley has said in the past that she’s a member of the Republican Party and doesn’t plan on running for any other faction.
