The world is becoming a more dangerous place by the day. America’s adversaries are chomping at the bit to try and destroy us.
And this Republican Governor issued a dire warning about these foreign enemies.
The United States’ enemies are trying to find new ways to invade us.
They’ll send terrorists through the southern border, which is wide open thanks to President Joe Biden and his administration.
Or they’ll buy up land for agricultural purposes in order to try and control America’s food supply.
And that’s exactly what Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) is warning the U.S. about.
When appearing on a recent episode of Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Noem suggested that other states sign a bill into law that’s similar to the one she signed last month, which bans certain countries from owning land in South Dakota.
In the past, South Dakota had banned any country from owning over 160 acres of land in its state.
But with the new law that Noem signed, China, Iran, Cuba, Russia, Venezuela, and North Korea cannot own any land in the Mount Rushmore State.
The bill also states that any land owner from a foreign country would have three years to either sell their land or become a legal citizen of the United States in order to keep it.
“Well, what I hope the American people realize is that the country that controls our food supply, they control us,” Noem said on “Sunday Morning Futures.”
“China would never – they would never allow Americans to come over and buy their land. They don’t even allow their own people to buy land in China. Why would we ever allow them to come to America and own our property and own land in the middle of the United States that they will use for nefarious actions to control us?”
“I think America needs to wake up. We have our enemy among us. We have no idea how much land they own.”
Gov. Noem, who is reportedly on former President Donald Trump’s short-list of potential vice presidential candidates, has come out guns a-blazing on this topic.
She understands that it would be incredibly easily for a foreign adversary to buy up chunks of land in the U.S. and use it for our nation’s downfall.
Noem also understands that the federal government under the Biden administration won’t be effective in shutting down or at least properly surveying how much land nations like China or Russia are buying up in this country.
“I’d like governors to have more of a role in this. I think it’s important governors pass laws to give more reporting requirements and some consequences if evil foreign governments come in and purchase up our assets.”
Kristi Noem’s willingness to address this crucial issue is one of the reasons why she’s in the running to be Trump’s next running mate.
We need more America-first leaders in our country just like Gov. Noem.
