DeSantis knows how to win. It’s what makes him so successful as governor of Florida.

And Ron DeSantis earned a major victory that has Leftists melting down.

Finally, Florida stands tall in its fight to shield innocent kids from the twisted world of explicit drag shows.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has delivered a massive win by overturning a lower court’s block on the state’s law, clearing the path for enforcement.

This breakthrough comes after a grueling two-years, where common-sense protections for children were stalled by a legal hurdle. Florida’s Attorney General James Uthmeier didn’t hold back in declaring the victory this week, putting every venue on high alert.

“For two years, our law preventing children from attending s*xually explicit drag shows was held up in court. Starting today, the law is in effect thanks to a win on appeal by our office,” he said.

Uthmeier’s message was crystal clear and aimed straight at those pushing the boundaries. “If you’re exposing children to lewd conduct, you’re on notice. We’re watching, Pensacola,” he stated.

At the heart of this triumph is the Protection of Children Act, a no-nonsense measure designed to crack down on venues that dare to expose minors to what the law calls an “adult live performance.” It’s about drawing a firm line against the kind of filth that has no place around kids.

The law spells it out:

“‘Adult live performance’ means any show, exhibition, or other presentation in front of a live audience which, in whole or in part, depicts or simulates n*dity, s*xual conduct, s*xual excitement, or specific s*xual activities as those terms are defined in s. 847.001, lewd conduct, or the lewd exposure of prosthetic or imitation g*nitals or br**sts when it: 1. Predominantly appeals to a prurient, shameful, or morbid interest; 2. Is patently offensive to prevailing standards in the adult community of this state as a whole with respect to what is suitable material or conduct for the age of the child present; and 3. Taken as a whole, is without serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value for the age of the child present.”

This isn’t some vague guideline—it’s a targeted strike against performances that cross into outright indecency, ensuring that family values aren’t trampled underfoot by radical agendas.

The saga kicked off back in 2022, when Florida officials zeroed in on a so-called Christmas-themed drag event that turned out to be anything but jolly.

Shockingly, the event was billed as “all ages” unless specified otherwise, with only a weak disclaimer slapped on ticket sales. It read: “This performance has adult themes and content. Admission is limited to patrons 18 years of age or over, unless accompanied by a parent.”

In plain terms, that meant parents could drag their own kids into this mess, exposing them to raunchy displays that no child should witness.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis didn’t sit idly by during these outrages. That same year, he called out a Miami bar for hosting drag shows aimed at children, highlighting the absurdity of it all.

“They actually had the bar, had a children’s menu on their food services and you think to yourself, you know, give me a break. What’s going on?” DeSantis stated.

He and his team wasted no time in hitting back hard. “So they looked under Florida law and were able to initiate this procedure that would basically take away the liquor license for that.”

His stance boils down to a simple, powerful truth: “We want to make sure — we want to make sure that we have a state and we have communities where kids can be kids,” DeSantis said.

With this appellate court ruling, Florida sends a loud message to the rest of the nation—enough is enough when it comes to grooming and corrupting the next generation under the guise of entertainment.

The Sunshine State is leading the charge in reclaiming sanity for families everywhere.
