The Biden campaign was given a brutal reality check after this new poll came out

Joe Biden’s reelection chances have taken a massive hit lately. He could very well lose in humiliating fashion to Donald Trump this fall.

And the Biden campaign was given a brutal reality check after this new poll dropped.

Democrats in both politics and the mainstream media has made the claim that former President Donald Trump is a threat to our nation’s democracy.

They say that he would be a dictator if he were elected to the presidency, and would ultimately shut down elections for good.

Of course, that’s an asinine take by the Left, but for some reason, they believe it wholeheartedly.

And a new poll shows that independent voters also think that Democrats have lost their minds when it comes to thinking of Trump as a threat to democracy.

According to a recent NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll, 53% of independents believe that President Joe Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than Donald Trump.

42% of independents think the same thing about Trump.

1,199 Americans participated in the poll late last month, and there’s a 3.6 margin of error.

“I find it shocking. I can’t make sense of that number. I wish I could. I wish I had some really great insight into it,” said MSNBC analyst Susan Del Percio.

This poll is another instance where former President Trump is starting to perform well among key demographics that have supported Biden heavily in the past.

This month, an ABC News/Ipsos poll showed that Trump is tied with Biden with suburban women.

In April of last year, the president had a pretty sizable lead over Trump with that demographic, according to a Wall Street Journal poll. Specifically, Biden led 54%-41%.

The Wall Street Journal also released a poll in April that shows 30% of black men are planning to vote for Donald Trump this year. The poll also notes that 11% of black women are also willing to vote for him.

In 2020, the former president only picked up 12% of the vote from black men.

These massive polling boosts for Trump are obviously bad news for Joe Biden and his campaign.

If Biden can’t perform well among independents, suburban women, and black men, then his chances at reelection are slim to none.

The Left and the president’s campaign better do something or their nightmare of Donald Trump being reelected to a second term may come true.
