The DNC just gave an earth-shattering update about Biden’s nomination and the White House is in disbelief

Joe Biden thought he was going to cruise to the Democrat nomination for president this year. But the exact opposite has happened.

And the DNC just gave an earth-shattering update about Biden’s nomination and the White House is in complete disbelief.

The state of Ohio has given President Joe Biden and the Democrats some difficulty as the party prepares to nominate Biden as their candidate for president.

Under Ohio’s law, presidential and vice presidential candidates must be certified 90 days or more before the general election. If they aren’t certified within this time frame, then they can’t appear on Ohio’s ballot.

But the Democrat National Convention, in which these official certifications will take place, is scheduled for mid-August and would only be about 75 days before the presidential election.

That’s led the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to come up with a new plan to make sure President Joe Biden is their nominee and is able to appear on the ballot in all 50 states.

DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison announced on Tuesday that the party will virtually nominate Biden before the convention, according to reports from The Hill.

“Joe Biden will be on the ballot in Ohio and all 50 states and Ohio Republicans agree,” Harrison stated.

“But when the time has come for action, they have failed to act every time, so Democrats will land this plane on our own.”

Harrison also added that the Democrat Party will hold a “virtual roll call” to officially nominate Joe Biden.

He explained that this would be an effort to “ensure that Republicans can’t chip away at our democracy through incompetence or partisan tricks.”

According to CBS News, Republicans in the Ohio Senate had passed a law that would make sure that Biden would be on the ballot this November.

The legislation also prevents “foreign contributions to ballot issue campaigns.”

“The state House had worked on a more permanent solution that would change the certification deadline, but ultimately neither of those bills was officially voted on in the lower chamber,” The Hill reported regarding the situation.

Ohio Democratic Party chairwoman Liz Walters was critical of Republicans because according to her, they had “played politics with our democracy.”

According to reports from Politico, the Democrat National Convention may be held virtually as well so that pro-Palestinian protests can’t disrupt the event and cause a major distraction.

Joe Biden and his administration’s handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict has drawn criticism from both Republicans and Democrats.

Unfortunately for Biden, he’s practically split his party over this issue, with some Leftists claiming that they are refusing to vote for the president because of his support of Israel during it’s war with Hamas.

So while a virtual convention and a virtual nomination may benefit Joe Biden, he’s still got all sorts of problems he needs to iron out if he wants to defeat former President Donald Trump in the general election this year.
