The son of President Joe Biden just can’t seem to keep himself out of trouble. But this time he’s really in a bind.
And the hammer just dropped on Hunter Biden in a truly stunning way.
Hunter Biden thought he was out of the clear earlier this summer.
He entered a plea agreement to stay away from a potential jail sentence.
“Hunter Biden was expected to plead guilty in July to two misdemeanor tax counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax as part of a plea deal to avoid jail time on a felony gun charge,” Fox News reports.
“But [Judge] Noreika of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware declined to accept the plea and pretrial diversion agreements with Hunter Biden during his first court appearance related to the charges. She described the DOJ’s deal as unconstitutional, ‘not standard’ and ‘different from what I normally see.'”
Since Hunter Biden no longer has a plea deal and has to plead not guilty to the tax charges and the federal gun charge, he is expected to be indicted by Special Counsel David Weiss.
The indictment will occur by the end of September and will be for the felony gun charge.
According to Fox News, in 2018 police were called to a market in Delaware after a gun was thrown into the trash just outside the market.
The owner of the gun was none other than Hunter Biden.
A source told Fox News, that the police report detailed Hallie Biden, widow of the deceased Beau Biden (Joe Biden’s son), was the individual who discarded the gun.
Hallie was also in a rather controversial relationship with Hunter during that time.
Either way, the gun belonged to Hunter Biden and when he bought it, he answered “no” when being asked if he was, “an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance.”
Hunter’s notorious crack addiction will likely question whether he answered truthfully to that question.
Not only will he be dealing with the gun charge, but Weiss is also considering charging Hunter with the tax charges.
Hunter Biden will also have to provide documents to House Republicans which could turn up new evidence against him.
“Should you refuse to provide the Committee with the requested information because of any purported privilege, the Committee may need to seek testimony from you and/or Hunter Biden regarding the disclosure of these documents and communications,” said a letter to Hunter’s lawyers from the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means committee chairs.
Hunter Biden is in a world of trouble. Not only will he potentially face jail time, but new evidence could circulate that could also incriminate his father.
And Joe Biden doesn’t need any criminal charges against him to sprout up before the 2024 election.
