The Left can’t stand that former President Trump appointed three Justices to the Supreme Court. They’ll stop at nothing to change that.
And the Supreme Court was smacked with a security threat that has all hell breaking loose.
The Democrat Party has no qualms with sanctioning political violence if it pushes their agenda further.
Just take a look at the Black Lives Matter riots back in 2020 – billions of dollars in damages and dozens died as a result.
Politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said the rioters had “no choice” but to destroy American cities.
CNN’s Chris Cuomo even said “please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful” when talking about the riots.
Now Leftists are taking it to the Supreme Court.
The United States Supreme Court has asked Congress to enhance its funds for increased security.
“The court’s budget request asks for $5,897,000 for the “expansion of protective activities” and a separate increase of $585,000 for new IT security positions in “cybersecurity, software development, and network engineering,’” reported Margaret Mary Olohan of The Daily Signal.
According to the Court’s request, the funds will be used to “expand security activities conducted by Supreme Court Police to protect the Justices.”
“On-going threat assessments show evolving risks that require continuous protection,” the request continues.
“Additional funding would provide for contract positions, eventually transitioning to full-time employees, that will augment capabilities of the Supreme Court police force and allow it to accomplish its protective mission.”
The Court’s request comes after pro-life justices received several deadly threats after voting to invalidate Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health case last year.
That judgment was leaked by an unknown malefactor with ties to the Court, which would explain the necessity for additional cybersecurity.
Before the Court’s judgment against Roe, but after the outcome was leaked, radicals began storming the houses of pro-life justices, a conduct prohibited by federal law.
In the months afterward, the Biden Justice Department has been widely chastised for failing to charge a single person for the criminal act of threatening a federal judge, despite ongoing Leftist protests outside the private residences of the judges deemed most likely to decide against progressive objectives.
A guy was apprehended outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home in early June 2022, armed with a firearm, a knife, pepper spray, and burglary tools.
The man told police that he was inspired by Kavanaugh’s conservative views on abortion and gun rights and that he meant to murder the judge.
Congressional Democrats faced increased criticism in the months that followed for delaying and obstructing Republican efforts to improve security for all Supreme Court justices, including those who voted against Roe v. Wade.
