But this Democrat just let the cat out of the bag on their plan to completely dismantle America.
Democrats have made it quite clear that they are not interested in protecting America’s borders under any circumstance.
Record levels of illegal immigrants have been crossing the southern border, and the Biden administration has refused to lift a finger.
Joe Biden hasn’t even visited the southern border as President yet, despite being visiting Arizona in recent weeks.
Some conservatives have been suggesting that leaving the border insecure was the plan for Democrats all along.
The idea is that Democrats are looking to politic their way with immigrants – regardless of legal status – to more votes.
That idea just gained a lot more credibility after what this Democrat just admitted about the southern border.
Arizona Sheriff David Hathaway was elected to his position as a Democrat in 2020, and has since proven to be one of the most insane Democrat sheriffs ever.
Arizona’s Republican Governor Doug Ducey has promised to secure their southern border since Joe Biden refuses to do nothing about it.
But Democrat Sheriff David Hathaway has promised to arrest anyone trying to help Ducey secure their border with Mexico.
Hathaway claims that since the land at the Arizona southern border is owned by the federal government, he views it as a felony to build any wall or security there.
Hathaway says “it’s not state land, it’s not private land, and the federal government has said this [is a] illegal activity.”
He then likened trying to secure the southern border of Arizona to committing a homicide or stealing a car.
“So just the way if I saw somebody doing an assault or a homicide or a vehicle theft on public land within my county, I would charge that person with a crime.”
Talk about unhinged.
Governor Ducey says that it’s their duty to the citizens of Arizona to do the job that Joe Biden refuses to do, saying that they are “not backing down.”
“Arizona is going to do the job that Joe Biden refuses to do — secure the border in any way we can. We’re not backing down,” Ducey said.
He also noted frustration he has with the Washington, D.C. politicians who won’t even address or acknowledge the southern border crisis.
“For the last two years, Arizona has made every attempt to work with Washington to address the crisis on our border. Time and time again we’ve stepped in to clean up their mess. Arizonans can’t wait any longer for the federal government to deliver on their delayed promises,” Ducey said.
