U.S. Senator John Fetterman has serious health issues. It’s only getting worse.
And now this John Fetterman photo has Chuck Schumer quaking in his boots.
In February this year, just barely a month after John Fetterman took office as the U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, Fetterman was checked into a hospital after dealing with severe depression as a result of his major stroke from 2022.
Fetterman spent weeks in the hospital and his position as the U.S. Senator was somewhat uncertain.
Recently it was announced that Fetterman was released from the hospital and would resume his normal schedule at the Senate.
But it appears that not all is going well for Fetterman and the Democrats in the Senate if this photo is any indication.
After being released from the hospital, Fetterman looked pretty rough, to say the least. He looks like he’s really struggling to even get through menial tasks of the day.
Before the 2022 midterms, the Fetterman team and the Democrats were saying that Fetterman wouldn’t be facing any major setbacks as a result of his stroke from May 2022.
When the debate between Fetterman and Dr. Oz happened in October, everyone saw that Fetterman was obviously still compromised.
Then he takes office in January and turns right around and checks into a hospital, and now there’s news that he’s getting hearing aids to address hearing loss he’s been facing lately from his stroke.
USA Today reports:
While at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for six weeks, Fetterman was fitted for hearing aids to address mild-to-moderate hearing loss that was discovered.
It’s unclear whether Fetterman was having issues with his hearing before the October debate with Dr. Oz, or if it’s a new side effect.
Either way, it’s very clear that the Pennsylvania Senator is not doing well at all, and that should seriously concern Chuck Schumer.
The Democrat majority in the U.S. Senate is razor thin, especially since U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema officially left the Democrat party in December.
If Fetterman continues to face health issues that take him out of service for extended periods of time, he could be down a critical vote.
Furthermore, Americans in Pennsylvania are likely feeling like they were lied to – as they were – about Fetterman’s health condition and outlook. That could blow back in 2024 and 2026.
